Hello, We are looking for Scrum Master for our client based Northwest Ft. Worth, TX .
Duration: 7+ month assignment Location: Northwest Ft. Worth Description Responsibilities: • Responsible for coordinating and managing small/medium projects • Responsible for coordination of team activities • Enables team in Scrum Development and the delivery of product roadmap features • Facilitates all aspects of completing sprint work including design, review of work, optimizing team interactions and implementation • Takes ownership of backlog grooming, estimation and all other process driven activities • Facilitates discussions, decision making, and conflict resolution • Removes roadblocks and guides the team to the appropriate resources • Responsible for ensuring team follows all scrum and company processes • Meet responsibilities as delegated by manager that are specific to functional area and team. • Challenge, coach and guide the organization using agile and lean principles • Emphasize code quality, with an emphasis on small, focused user stories • Experiment with and integrate processes and tools that enable continuous improvement • Create metrics to provide teams and the organization with relevant feedback • Responsible for coordination of team activities • Mentors Software Engineers on software development and Agile best practices • Communicates, and delivers frequent updates, project summaries to management and leadership Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline is required or equivalent work experience and technical training. • Certified Scrum Master (CSM) • Minimum five (5) years of relevant work experience • Knowledge of Lean, XP, Kanban, DevOps and other Agile development techniques • Experience with project management tools and methodologies, ability to manage multiple projects with a focus on timelines and appropriate escalation • Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills • Excellent team building and employee relationship skills • Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and time-management skills • Must be detail oriented and able to follow through on issues to resolution Preferred Qualifications: • Background in business development, quality assurance or technical development • Other Scrum certifications such as Certified Scrum Product Owner • Experience working with remote development teams • Application development or project management experience within the Logistics industry • Experience with software metrics • Experience with estimation methodologies Department TECHNOLOGY SERVICES Work Location FT.
