*We are looking for a Front end Developer / Coder – Web Development
**Position Knowledge and Skill Requirements:
Overview • Thorough knowledge of front-end technologies including
Skills - HTML, CSS, JavaScript and JSP*

* Exp • General knowledge of supporting front-end
disciplines (Design,
IA) with thorough understanding of the front-end impacts.
• General knowledge of back-end technologies along
with thorough
understanding of the front-end impacts.
• General understanding of technology trends and technical
developments.
• General knowledge of client/server technical architectures
.
• General knowledge of desktop software and hardware
technologies.
• General knowledge of applications development processes
and tools.
• Demonstrated ability to work in teams, participate in the
development of objectives and resolution of issues.
• General knowledge of CG businesses and management
processes.
• Acquires and effectively demonstrates any additional
knowledge
and skill requirements as requested.
Expectations:
• Maintains and consistently demonstrates a general
knowledge of company guidelines, processes, practices and procedures.
• Monitors technology trends and researches relevant technical
developments for practical application at CGC.
• Participates in the development of tactical or strategic
technology directions.
• Participates in meetings with content, fellow
coders, applications
developers and technology & operations staff, identifying, issues
• Works with the business unit to under their needs, review
requirements and provide feasibility input.
• Participates in technical projects in support of
applications
development projects.
• Educates team members about the technical issues of systems
development projects.
• Analyzes and evaluates the technical requirements of proposed
systems.
• Assists application development teams in the selection and
application of appropriate technical standards.
• Assists in the estimation of technical architecture
development efforts and prioritization of tasks for
technical architecture releases and implementation.
• Participates in the design of technical architecture
components in support of application requirements.
• Conducts analysis of hardware and software, as needed for
the implementation of a technical architecture.
• Participates in the development efforts with the application
development team members.
• Provides status updates and reports to project management
and development team members on a consistent
basis.
• Develops or integrates components of the technical
architecture,
as required.
• Ensures the quality of the technical architecture by
conducting
thorough unit and system testing.
• Participates in the appropriate implementation of
the technical
architecture, in cooperation with technology
and operations staff, to ensure continued overall reliable
execution of systems.
• Supports use of best practices.
• Constructively contributes in team and department meetings
and training opportunities.
• Performs other work as required or requested as well as
additional assignments. *
