The consultant will be responsible for SAN services using EMC hardware & software products. The position will support a multi petabyte enterprise environment for our customer at multiple locations in the Maryland area. Minimal travel is required between the sites. The consultant will integrate with the existing team and provide technical leadership on SAN projects to work with the global SAN team on SAN/NAS solutions from a data availability & performance perspective.* *Required Skills:* - *Storage engineer/architect with 7+ years of enterprise class experience* - *Experience with EMC VMAX, VPLEX, VNX, Isilon & Cisco/Brocade switching* - *Experience with various NAS technologies, NetApp and VNX NAS, including NAS migrations * - *Must have knowledge on optimizing database technologies using SAN products* - *Should be proficient on SAN and IP network based EMC solutions, architecture, engineering, deployment, configuration and setup.* - *The position requires a technical degree and hands on experience with administration & performance tuning of EMC/Cisco SAN products.
