*Member of team that is responsible for developing and maintaining
Corporate & Brand Systems. This associate will function as an integral
member of the team working on complex applications. The analyst will be
responsible for application design/analysis, estimation, coding, testing,
and documentation of all code. The associate will also work with business
users to assist in the project process. Additionally, the analyst will be
responsible for providing support for applications. **Position
Responsibilities:*
- *Works closely with customers, business analysts, and team members to
understand business requirements that drive the analysis and design of
quality technical solutions*
- *Involved in the full systems life cycle and is responsible for
reviewing, analyzing, designing, coding, testing, debugging, documenting,
implementing, maintaining, and supporting application software that is
delivered on time and within budget*
- *Code, debug and test application programs utilizing Java and web
programming tools that integrate web services*
- *Develop and maintain technical documentation*
*Requirements**: *
- *Typically has 8-10 years of IT work experience, with a minimum of 5
years of experience developing and implementing complex software solutions
in Java.*
- *3-5 years experience in application development utilizing J2EE (Java,
Servlets, JSPs)*
- *3-5 years front-end web development experience (HTML, CSS,
JavaScript)*
- *Spring, Oracle SQL, Log4j, Restful JSON Web Services experience
desired*
- *Oracle Retail and/or POS experience desired*
- *Source Control Management and Unit testing experience desired*
- *Familiarity with WebLogic, Web Sphere, or Glassfish desired*
*Qualifications:*
- *Experience with one or more of the following: Java, .NET, PHP,
Oracle database*
- *Information Systems / Computer Science degree. *
- *Strong organizational, verbal and written communication skills*
