*Job Description:*

· Quality Assurance engineer will be responsible for testing web based
application which includes both backend and front end testing of sites,
forms, cross browser and *unit testing.*

· QA engineer should be a team player and willing to work closely with the
team do what is required to resolve issues.

· Experience and expert knowledge on Quality Assurance standards, software,
tools, and best practices

· Work as an *embedded QA on an agile scrum team*.

· Hands on experience on both Manual and *Automation Testing,*

· Experience in automation testing using *Selenium or QTP and
backend database testing* experience.

· Ability to analyze and understand functional requirements for software
being tested and document Quality Management Plan.

· Responsible to write test cases and signoff user stories as a release
candidate.

· Manage/assign/prioritize defects for the development team and work
closely with developers towards resolution.

· Perform manual QA of web application with experience using *JIRA to*
create/execute test cases for *smoke/regression* testing.

· Experience in various testing phases *Integration, Regression, UAT,* etc.

· Report test execution results accurately to the software development team
and management.

· Ability to troubleshoot/triage issues using tools and by analyzing log
files.

· Strong Written and Oral communication skills to assist PM with
documentation during initial phase of development along with QA
documentation

· BS in Computer Science or equivalent education/experience.
