Hello, We are looking for Sr. Oracle DBA for our client based Dayton OH.
*Sr. Oracle DBA (60%Dev, 40% Prod Supp)* *Location: Dayton OH* *Duration: 12mos+* *Hire Method: Phone / Skype (locals preferred)* o Deliver and troubleshoot a high availability, service based solution – a mix of new development and production support o Database performance tuning o Define and assure architecture, design, and programming standards are followed o Code in pl/sql, possible shell scripts. Ability to read Java would be helpful. o Coordinate with infrastructure team for Oracle/Linux/WLS configuration o Environment management – validation, documentation, planning, access control o Write and review design docs o Interface with other technical personnel or team members to finalize requirements. o Remain current on industry standards and advances within area of expertise (Oracle 12c, MDM 10.x, etc) o Find and recommend opportunities for continuous improvement. o Release management – define standards, deployment, automation, verification, planning o Provide database expertise and guidance to approx. 10 member java & plsql team o Proactive database performance/stability improvements • Basic Qualifications: o 8 - 15 years relevant experience o Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, math or equivalent technical discipline or equivalent technical experience. o Ability to work independently with minimal supervision o Ability to keep or renegotiate commitments o Ability to work in a cooperative team environment with internal & vendor resources. o Good technical knowledge (admin, coding, testing, configuration, ETL) o Strong communication skills. o Ability to make decisions o Ability to provide both detail information and also summarize to a management level. o Ability to work through problems and propose a range of solutions o Ability to work in ambiguous situations • What we are looking for in you: o Deep database expertise, including designing in performance considerations o Technical expertise to make infrastructure “boring” o Experience using best practices for ETL (design tuning) • Proficient in: o Structured Query Language (SQL) o Oracle RDMS o Server administration • Familiarity with o Oracle Fusion Middleware o Java, Java Web development, JEE o XML o Informatica MDM 9.6.1+ o Weblogic 10 o Siebel 8+ o Webservices Thanks & Regards, Mahesh Techno Rocket Systems, Email: mah...@technorocketsystems.com Microsoft Certified Prof. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Oracle Developers" group.
