Not knowing all the details, I am guessing that you had a case of bacterial rot caused by water left in crowns and leaf axels overnight of both, the new arrivals and other plants of different genera in your collectionthat also died.If you believe you purchased diseased plants that infected other plants in your collection, then you obviously did not quarantine the new arrivals.
