I have a friend whose father used to make these umbrellas, but he passed away a while ago, and although she has some of his supplies she doesn't remember all the steps to make them, and I'd like to make them as well. Re: [Origami] Documentary Film?
My feeling is it's possible it could be legitimate, and it was sent out to community groups, like a 'casting call', to see who would be interested in participating in this project, then they would narrow down the selections. We'll see! At least he wasn't asking for money. Re: [Origami] Documentary Film?
Yes I got an email from him too. I looked him up, as well as the production company, and both look legitimate, but I’m still a little leery. I did reply, asking for more information. Maybe I shouldn’t have replied? June Yamasaki Sent from my iPhone > On Apr 9, 2020, at 8:20 PM, FOLD wrote: > > Hey ... > > Had anyone else heard from someone called Prince Vaugh, III? [Origami] Scaffold magazine
Hi,does anyone know who is the keeper of the newsletter the Scaffold? There used to be someone doing it... long long ago. I wonder if I could host the newsletter on my web site so it doesn't disappear. Here is one example of an issue: https://www.scribd.com/document/150606025/Scaffold-05 Thanks, Diana I believe the magazine was done by Joshua Koppel, who is a member of CHAOS (Chicago Area Origami Society) Hope this helps! [Origami] simple origami books
Dick and Serena LaVine serend...@gmail.com via <https://support.google.com/mail/answer/1311182?hl=en> lists.digitalorigami.com 5:48 PM (2 hours ago) to olist A friend of mine loves origami and is interested in starting to fold. She has no experience and would prefer to start with a basic book rather than classes or individual instruction. I know there are many great books out there designed partly or fully for beginners, but I'd love to hear your suggestions. Thanks 'Origami' by Hideaki Sakata is a good one, also Tomoko Fuse's 'Simple Traditional Origami'. Both can be bought used from Amazon. June Yamasaki
