Re: [osg-users] [build] x64 library Dependencies for VC9sp1

2011-03-03 Thread Craig Lane
Hi Torben,

It turns out the issue was with my isp. Da!! It just so happened that the
.7z file was the first file I download when they had the issue. They are
correcting the problem now.

Sorry to waste your time. Thanks a lot for checking the files were all working.

...

Thank you!

Cheers,
Craig

2011-03-02 Thread Torben Dannhauer
Hi Craig,

Today I build OSG x64 bit with the fresh downloaded 3rdParty package V3, and
everything worked as expected.

Therefor I assume that your download is somehow corrupted or that your
decrompress tools are broken.

If anyone else have similar problems, please contact me. Otherwise I regard
this issue as closed.

BTW: If some needs some libraries in the package updated, please contact me as
well, I'll see if I can provide a update package then..

Thank you!

Cheers,
Torben

Hi Torben,

Thanks for checking that the download works. I am not sure what is going on
with my laptop then. I will try again today on my desktop computer when it
gets rebuilt. Which program are you using to uncompress the .7z file?

Thanks one again for your assistance.

Thank you!

Hi Craig,

Hmm, at a short firtst glance the server and its raid seems to be ok...

I'm not shure if I have the V3 package oin my laptop, so today evening I'll do
a testbuild with a fresh downloaded 3rdParty Package. That will explain if you
have a problem with you tools or if the packages are realy corrupted.

Has anmyone else problems with the package?

Cheers,
Torben

[osg-users] [build] x64 library Dependencies for VC9sp1

2011-02-28 Thread Craig Lane
Hi,

I am having a problem with the x64 libraries that are in
3rdParty_VC9sp1_x86_x64_V3.7z. This link is on the dependencies page. When I
uncompress the file many of the x64 libraries seem to be corrupt. I have tried
a number of .7z unpacking programs and all have the same problem.

Is anyone else having this problem?

Also where can I get access to the required dependency source, so I can build
the libraries myself. Or do I just track them down on the web.

Cheers,
Craig

Re: [osg-users] [build] x64 library Dependencies for VC9sp1

2011-02-28 Thread Craig Lane
Hi brad,

Thanks for the information. I also saw that file

3rdParty_VC9sp1_x86_x64-src_V3.7z

Many files inside the 3rdParty_VC9sp1_x86_x64-src_V3.7z
file also seem to be corrupt. I get hundreds of data error messages when I
unpack the file. I have tried 7z and winRar, none of which can unpack the
files correctly.

Have you been able to unpack any of these files. Which .7z tool are you using?

Cheers,
Craig

2011-02-28 Thread Torben Dannhauer
Hi Craig,

I created the VC9sp1 Package and host it on my server. I did a quick comparison
to my local 3rdParty folder, and you seem right, the size of the downloaded and
of my local folder is different. I'll do a check of my server, corrupted files
usually means trouble :/

I'll gibe a notice in the thread when I've detected the problem.

Thank you!

Cheers,
Torben
