Re: [osg-users] OSG ActiveX + IFC - looking for developer
Hi, have emailed your company days ago ... No answer. Just wonder, how you people do a business? Are you in IT or some other industry? Can you elaborate on this? This is such a complex format that it is probably not a good idea to have multiple projects working on different implementations. I don't know if any of the people currently asking about IFC could utilize a closed-source option, but if they could it would save everyone a lot of effort. I spoke to the person I'd previously been contacted by, concerning the IFC loader. They have not moved forward on the project yet, so as far as I know, there is not an IFC loader project for OSG. If you are interested, they indicated they would be willing to consider splitting the costs of developing a loader. I had spoken to them previously about doing the actual programming for them under paid contract. If this interests you, I can put both of you in touch so you could discuss it. -- Chris 'Xenon' Hanson, omo sanza lettere. xe...@alphapixel.com http://www.alphapixel.com/ Digital Imaging. OpenGL. Re: [osg-users] OSG ActiveX + IFC - looking for developer
Hi, does anybody know, what formats (like IFC) can include object properties, like length/area/volume, material properties (thickness, material name ...) I mean, we need some format (which can be opened in the OSG) and which is able to be exported from Autodesk (Revit, Autocad), Graphisoft ArchiCAD, Tekla etc. I know about DXF, but it does not include those attributes/values.
