Re: [OSList] Movement/Dance/Somatics/Embodiment - opening space within & without!

2019-12-04 Thread Rotem Ofer via OSList
Hi Tricia,
I like your question and I feel moved to follow this discussion. From my
experience - "4d's Maping" by the group as social body (Demonstrated by
Arawana in u.lab course) and group constelation, are more and more welcomed
in organizations. I find that when I offer a nonverbal way to look at the
current situation in the organization, and invite people to express their
next step in a nonverbal way, it's enable a strong and fast way to create
something new. Surprisingly, it's work great even in business corporates
cultures. From experience, It's usefull especially in a complex situations,
and adaptive problems, just like Open Space. So, I find it very interesting
chalenge to combine it with our Open space work.

All the best

Re: [OSList] Deep Visioning

2016-09-21 Thread Rotem Ofer via OSList
Hi Christine,

   - The Web site was only English. The Local workshops were facilitated by
the local HR specialists and were made in the local language.
   - The process was over 6 months.

   - The website designed to enable to collect the crowd wisdom - the
employees were encouraged to vote and to prioritize the values. (The
encouraging made by giving prizes ...)
   - The final processing of the outcomes was made by the OD team

Re: [OSList] Deep Visioning

2016-09-19 Thread Rotem Ofer via OSList
Hi Christine,

Thank you for sharing this challenge with us. So exciting that corporates
are reaching the point of realizing that the wisdom of the many, can help
them to create a better future.

I was involved in a process of values definition, in a company of 4300
employees, in 30 countries, using a participatory approach with an
Appreciative inquiry process.
I can share with you happily, and I think you can take some inspiration,
and practical ideas and incorporate them into your project.

To summarize it shortly, the process was based on :

   - Collecting stories from all employees (AI stories), by inviting them
to share the story through a website that was built for the process. Each
story got a title, which presented the main message.

   - Each employee had the opportunity to enter the website and vote for
the story and the message that he feels express the best of the company,
and will promise the best value for the future.

   - In a parallel process, Internal HR specialists facilitated workshops
with groups of employees in some sites to dive deeper into AI
   questionnaire.

   - All outcomes : the crowd wisdom from the websites and the outputs from
the workshops, were collected by the organization development department
and were and were cultivated into a definition of the core values of the
   company.

If you find it helpful, I can share with you the process in more details,
or contact you to this company for a deeper benchmark.

Hugs from Israel,
Rotem Ofer

Dear all,
Is there anyone from Alabama- USA here ?
I'm looking for a colleague to interveen in organization. Not sure if an
Open space event will be the right way, but I'm sure we need a dialogic and
collaborative approach, with an open space spirit.
Thanks
