Covers all the US that has NEXRAD (lower 48, parts of Alaska, maybe
Hawaii).

I use 2.4.0#18556 2016-09-28, it is ok.

Don't use latest versions, they have changes in new search, currently with NO
search for gps-pos and adresses.

Re: Country or region files

2016-10-10 Thread 'Tim Passingham' via Osmand
Thanks. It turn s out that the latest version doesn't worm on my system,
but the April 24th version does.

Larger files, such as Germany, can't be processed on my system, not least
because they chew up vast amounts of disk space (60+ GB) at which point my
SSD was full. Ah well, I tried :)

Regards

Tim

Re: Voice navigation omitting "After"

2016-10-10 Thread David Wilbourn
I found them on the phone. The After.ogg works and the config.p file seems
to show the correct instructions:
prepare_turn(Turn, Dist, Street) -- ['after.ogg', D, M, | Sgen]:- distance(
Dist) -- D, turn(Turn, M), turn_street(Street, Sgen).

The (recorded) voice navigation used to say things like "After 70
meters turn right" but now it just says "70 meters turn right". I know the
recorded word "after" is present, I have heard directions that include it
in the middle of a sentence, it just seems to be missing when it should be
 the first word.

Anyone know how I can get "After" back? It's not a huge problem but it
 rather annoying and distracting!

I am using OsmAnd+ 2.4.7 dated 2016-09-19 with the English recorded
 voice directions.

I also miss some more information what are the goals for next release, what
is being worked on and when it is expected to be ready. Most opensource
project do this. But Osmand development seems to be pretty closed.
