Re: How to show two tracks at once

2018-05-21 Thread Bart Eisenberg
There's also Configure map/GPX track. At least one of these should
work.

Thanks Bart. I have tried that and it did not seem to work but I'll go
back and try it again since I know if you say this is the way to do it,
this is the way to do it! :) Thanks again.

Use downloaded map in browser

2018-05-21 Thread DJ Caësar 9114
Hello,
I'm developping a webapp (html on a browser, to be precise). For the
moment, I tell the browser to use an online map, so the user has to
download the tiles every time.
I was wondering if it was possible to use the map downloaded on the mobile
or tablet in the browser. I don't know, something in javascript like

map = loadMap(path/to/the/map.map)

Is it possible?

Thanks in advance.

Failure in tracking (Trip Recording) plugin

2018-05-21 Thread S Cearley
This is all on the OSMAnd+ 2.9.3, Android 7.0 kernel 3.18.31
I have previously used trip recording and it worked fine.

Today, trip recording started but did not track. My position moved on the
map as expected, but there was no recording. Time was always zero, distance
was always zero.
STOP from the pull-down notification screen did not work.

In fact, if I stop tracking from within OSMAnd+, the tracking notification
remains in the notification bar.
EVEN REMOVING THE PLUGIN does not remove the notification form the toolbar.
I had to restart the phone in order for it to be removed.

I do no t know what is happening but being unable to record tracks is a big
part of why I use OSMAnd+ and it's frustrating. I need it to be able to
update the OSM maps since there is very little data here.

What has happened to tracking?

Re: installation of Osmand~ nightly built apk file fails

2018-05-21 Thread guy vanvuchelen
I tried to install the beta version 3.0.0 on a tablet and a smartphone. The
latter was successful. However, if I want to open the new menu, Reisgids
(beta), I get the message "OsmAnd is stopped"

Re: Important discrepancy between OSM and Osmand map (Padua, Italy)

2018-05-21 Thread Max1234Ita
BTW: I've checked the area you mentioned (file: *uncorrect.jpg*): it looks
like someone accidentally hooked to a node belonging to "Riviera Tiso da
Camposampietro" and dragged it around. It happens, some times.

That's a different problem - you are trying to access files in the hidden
data folder, not maps as needed in the original post.

See the topic "Transfer (export/import) POI Filter ("custom filter") to
another divice".

Exactly what I meant - this is not the free space you need. The space for
app installation is in "system", much smaller than what you see (unless
rooted, and even so it is difficult to see free space for app installing ).
But I cannot be sure this is the exact reason - just a possible one.
