Split Interval question!

Getti g ready for a cycli g tour in Montana and Wyoming. I downloaded the route 
into Osmand.
But I have a question about the intervals.I was wondering if 5 miles is the 
longest available? Or is there a way to  increase it.

Voice??

I was out driving the other day and when I was using Osmand the directions 
worked fine but the Voice navigation did not. I switched it on and off but not 
sure what's up.

SD Card question

So as a tech challenged individual I was attempting to move my maps from 
internal storage to the micro SD Card.
I thought I would look at the amount of data stored Internally before and 
after. So then I went to Settings in Osmand and I see 2 External Storages. I 
picked #2 as #1 was already checked. Did the change and then looked at the 
Internal Storage and yes the volume decreased by about 2 gig. Then I looked at 
the SD Card storage and it really didn't change.
So my question is where did it go? And/or what did I do wrong?

Bart, I would say both. But the detail available in Osmand is great! I am 
quite"tech challenged" but as I learn more of the features in Osmand the more I 
appreciate it. When we tour other cyclists ask what we use and I continue to

Last year we traveled 3000 miles across Europe starting in Helsinki. At time 
our route would take us across farmer's field on a track of sorts. Many times 
the track would just disappear and out comes Osmand to find parallel or close 
by roads or tracks to get back on our way.
We head back to France for 6 weeks in May. And we will load Cycle Travel routes 
onto Osmand.
The other feature I like is to "pin" point of interest and campgrounds.

Airbnb and Osmand??

This summer while we were cycle touring in Europe we would use Airbnb. It would 
give use the option to locate the stay on a map and it seemed to default to 
Osmand. And this worked great! But here,in the US, it seems to go to Google Map 
which I don't want to use because I use it offline.
So am I missing a step to make Airbnb go to Osmand?

Slow loading all of a sudden!

Display Question

We are currently cycling across Europe. Today we cycled into Nuremberg, 
Germany. As I routed us to our lodging , I used cycle mode,I notice that I am 
missing part of the display that I had before. On the upper left it would show 
distance to the next turn and whether it was a right or left. But not now.

the day while my wife has a Garmin on her bike. 
If I leave Osmand loaded and turn the screen off,not turning off the phone, 
will it still drain the battery?

In Krakow and have a question!!

This also pertains to other cities. Is there a way to keep all the "peripheral" 
info from showing? For example as I zoom in on Krakow all the restaurants and 
other symbols show up and clutter the map.

OSM does not have every address available but I was thinking if I could use GPS

I have been using Cycle Travel for some of our route planning and then 
downloading them into Osmand. When I view the route in Cycle Travel it will 
show mileage Markers similar to RideWithGPS. Is there a way to make them show 
on Osmand?

Can I name a "Marker"??

Downloading Problem

DC. But the download only would go so far then stop each time I tried.

I have found,with Poland, that the Standard map seems to not download as easily 
as the individual Regions. This has happened on different devices.

 We download our routes to our Garmin800 which is on my wife's bike. I like to 
have a route overview on my tablet and phone. I will use my phone for 
navigation when entering big cities so we both can "see" the atea. The phone 
use dtaes the battery down too quick to use constantly but the Gatmin is good 
for all day+. Plus I carry paper maps for a backup.
We will be cycling for 3 months in Europe this year so it is a nice feature to 
have in our handlebar bags!

How do I find the screen thst allows me to do the above? When I download a 
route from CycleTravel to Osmand the option appears. But when I go into Osmand 
and recall the route I cannot find Split Intervsl option.

An example would be in Ride With GPS there are mileage "indicators/markers" 
every so many miles. The would allow you to guage how far apart different 
places, villages, cities etc.are.

Slow download??

Yesterday I decided to start downloading some maps for our upcoming European 
bike tour. I it seemed like the process was really slow. Is there a reason for 
this?
BTW 
We have been using Osmand for a number of years and it has been great! Recently 
on a cycling forum done were recommending Maps.me. Do for the fun of it I 
downloaded it and tried it out. No thanks! It seems like all the features I 
enjoy with Osmand are missing from that app.

A question about Alerts

When in car mode as we approach RR crossings we get an alert also we get a 
polite alert if we are over the speed limit. Is there a way to turn this off?

Back from Europe- now I have a problem!

Hey!! I recently returned from cycling in Europe. I had Osmand on my Android 
phone and it worked great. But now at home,Ohio, I seem to be having some 
problems. It will not show my location just says"Position not yet known". I 
have removed the app and reinstalled it and reinstalled the US map and Ohio. 
But nothing. It works fine on my tablet. Would appreciate your help. Thanks!!

Maybe it's me but....

Currently cycling across Europe and I cannot seem to make the POI's work for me 
when I want find say campgrounds or bike shops. I will enter campground in the 
search but it will show campgrounds miles/kilometeres away when I am right next 
to one!
What am I doing wrong?

Cannot seem to enter a address number

We are currently driving cross country to California. At the end of the day I 
entered the town and street into the program but it did not provide a 
opportunity to enter the address number.

New here but have been using Osmand-Questions

I have used this app for a few years  and it worked great as we cycled 
across country and in Europe. Recently got a new tablet and downloaded a 
number of maps ,for Canada. Today I went to look at them and everything is 
gone. So I deleted the app and re-installed it. Now it says I only have 5 
free downloads left. I remember paying for something that allowed more 
maps. Not sure what to do. Cannot seem to find anything on their site.
