After first backing up the APK (thanks for that advice) then uninstalling the old version Google Play allowed me to download and install version 2.9.3 On Thursday, 29 March 2018 19:01:39 UTC+1, pre...@googlemail.com wrote: > > Thanks, Max. Re: Can I upgrade beyond Osmand 1.9.4 on Android 4.1.2?
Thanks. That's good news. So how do I upgrade? I can't see an upgrade menu option in the old (1.9.4) version. Is the answer to uninstall and reinstall from Google Play? Can I upgrade beyond Osmand 1.9.4 on Android 4.1.2?
I have an old phone that can't be upgraded beyond Android version 4.1.2. Currently OsmAnd+ version 1.9.4 is installed on it, but when I go to the Google "Play Store" to try to upgrade OsmAnd the Play Store simply says "Installed" and provides no option to upgrade. Is this because version 1.9.4 is the latest version of OsmAnd that can be installed on Android 4.1.2? -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Osmand" group.
