Re: Bug in the Menu (Import Tracks)

2020-01-14 Thread Dmitry Prodchenko
Hello! I recommended you to change OsmAnd data storage to Shared or
External and just copy and paste all track into the OsmAnd folder. Even if
we add multiply file selection, you will need to select 400 files.

Re: Bug in the Menu (Import Tracks)

2020-01-14 Thread Baran Haws
I wanted to import a track.
I know to use an external file manager,
but to open every track, I need 6 clicks
I have 400 tracks (gpx files) then i will need 2400 clicks on screen to
finish importing all of them.

Use a file manager. Got ot the folder containing your gpx tracks.
tap or double-tap them: Does OsmAnd appear as app to open GPX tracks?
If so import it as track or favorites.
In this case I assume you want to import as track.

The correct place to report issues to the developers is on the OSMAnd

Re: Import tracks

2019-02-18 Thread Dmitriy Prodchenko
Hello! Import directly from OsmAnd, just opens the system files screen, so
OsmAnd can't control what is available or not. You can open Dropbox, tap on
the track and open in OsmAnd.

Is there support for importing from Dropbox?

I don't know what type of phone you have, but assuming you have a phone
with an SD card slot, and you've configured OsmAnd to use the SD card, then
you just need to connect the phone to your computer and copy the track
files (in GPX format) to the appropriate directory.

For example, my data storage directory is
/storage/6461-6339/Android/data/net.osmand.plus/files/osmand. When I
connect my phone to my computer, I can open the SD card, and then the
"Android", "data", "net.osmand.plus", "files" and finally "osmand"
directories. Then open the "tracks" directory and copy your tracks there.
You can create extra subdirectories to organise your tracks if you want.

Thanks
Nick
