Hello, Frank! Thank you for the feedback.
We have the issue with new release 3.1.2 that we start to roll out. For 
now, we stopped distribution, and try to fix the issue as soon as possible.

black screen since last update, won't install update or reinstall

I'm a happy user of OsmAnd+ bought in the google play store for many years.

Never had any serious problems, thanks for this great app.

Since the last update I have a big showstopper. Update will download.
Installation will start. After a short moment my screen turns black.
Cannot use any key press, tap or anything else.

After a few minutes with the black screen, my smartphone will reboot 
automatically.

Update failed. 

Tried to delete the installed app and reinstall it after a reboot. Failed 
every time.
Now I'm unable to install it again.

Every other update, even some large ones, no problem at all. Enough free 
space intern and extern.

Don't know what to do next.
