Re: [Owfs-developers] Using the RasPi for OWFS
Hello! Update. And problem solved. It was the configuration file that did it. I now have the HTTPD service running and telling me that it is 28.5C in here, twice, from a pair of DS18B20 devices and attached to the DS9097U who is using the FTDI based adapter, actually a second one. I bought this one from Micro Center today, via their open box method. To this end I have no idea why the configuration file had caused it. - Gregg C Levine gregg.drw...@gmail.com "This signature fought the Time Wars, time and again." [Owfs-developers] Using the RasPi for OWFS
Hello! I've gone ahead and glommed the ones that the repositories have for OWFS for the Raspberry Pi. The problem is that I've got an FTDI based adapter plugged in which was found at ttyUSB0, but the service isn't. It is indeed running, and I configured the supplied one for that adapter and attempted to bring up owhttpd. Each time I get nothing on the Chrome screen on the laptop. Any suggestions on where to go from there? - Gregg C Levine gregg.drw...@gmail.com "This signature fought the Time Wars, time and again." -- ___ Owfs-developers mailing list Owfs-developers@lists.sourceforge.net https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/owfs-developers
Re: [Owfs-developers] Building 2.9p5 on Raspberry Pi
Debian stable is "very stable": packages are updated only when a major debian release is issued, but the release life-cycle is pretty long. If you like more up-to-date packages you should try a rolling distrib, e.g http://archlinuxarm.org/platforms/armv6/raspberry-pi S.
