Re: [OT] VPN

2023-03-24 Thread Stephen Price
Using is such a dirty word.

I still have my emails there, yes. Each time I go to look elsewhere (was
considering importing all my emails into my Microsoft 365 business email
account) something blocks me.
My wife (personal emails on same Workspace account/domain) did not want her
work emails and personal emails in the same inbox. Fair enough...

Perhaps I should play the "it's cheaper to have a single inbox" card. 

I think I also considered porting it into my personal Outlook/Microsoft account
email and saw they are removing the ability to have personal domain names on
that. Oh and it HAS to be created and managed through GoDaddy. That's not cool,
forcing me to use a particular provider for my domain.
I'm not porting my domain to GoDaddy who I do not use.

I'm currently in same boat as Tom, waiting for something to present itself,
staying where I am resigned to poor alternatives.

Oh lovely, looking at what else you get for the Google One Premium plan, is
Google Workspace Premium. That does not seem right as I'm on Google Workspace

I went with this originally soley so I could use my own domain name.

Do any of the Google One plans by chance allow your own domain names or is that

I'm pretty sure i'm not the only one here with this G-Suite pain, I've seen it

A correction on my last email, the VPN showed on the comparison for Premium
only, but seems you can add it to any Google One subscription. Costs you extra
(except Premium where it must be included).
