Congratulations Mary a well deserved winner

Does anyone have the details of all of the

Thanks in advance.

Could you post what she
said? I know that you the modest person that you are would not blow
your own trumpet, but I would love to hear what she said about midwifery

Thanks Jan and everyone else! I was
thrilled that the essence of midwifery was being celebrated. The woman
who wrote the nomination was concise and eloquent in her praise of midwifery
skills. She captured the spirit of one to one midwifery care in about 50
words. It is all I have strived to achieve over the years. It is
all that midwives can achieve if they are given the right environment. MM

Tania you won't get their
details online, not even on Joyous Birth because it's not considered safe to
publicise their info. You can find out through the Home Midwifery Association
and their details are on the JB website in our community listings. Your friend
can also get support from HMA and Joyous Birth meets regularly up there too.
Next meeting early June for us so send her along!

Mary - this is beautiful. You must be so proud of
yourself - a birthing woman couldnt ask for more. You are truly making a
difference to the lives of families -women and their relationships
with partners and babies.
