[Bug 1066559] Review Request: mingw-id3lib - Library for manipulating ID3v1 and ID3v2 tags
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1066559 --- Comment #8 from David King amigad...@amigadave.com --- (In reply to František Dvořák from comment #7) I'm sorry, I swapped the arguments for touch ('-r' is for the reference file): Fixed! My fault for not checking. :-) Also the dll library has atypical name: libid3-3-8-3.dll. It is possible to change it by removing -release $(LT_RELEASE) from libid3_la_LDFLAGS (in the mingw patch), then name would be libid3-3.dll. I'm not sure if it is important, it is probably mere cosmetics... It has an odd name on Linux too: libid3-3.8.so.3.0.0 I would tend towards leaving this as is, because there is not likely to be another id3lib release (although I would be really happy if there was a new release containing the many fixes that have accumulated over the decade since 3.8.3 was released), so there is some possibility of being compatible with other binary builds of id3lib with the same library versioning. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug. Among those things, current Jenkins focuses on the following two jobs: - building/testing software projects continuously. In a nutshell, Jenkins provides an easy-to-use so-called continuous integration system, making it easier for developers to integrate changes to the project, and making it easier for users to obtain a fresh build. The automated, continuous build increases the productivity. - monitoring executions of externally-run jobs, such as cron jobs and procmail jobs, even those that are run on a remote machine. For example, with cron, all you receive is regular e-mails that capture the output, and it is up to you to look at them diligently and notice when it broke. Jenkins keeps those outputs and makes it easy for you to notice when something is wrong. [Bug 1069635] New: Review Request: derrick - A Simple Network Stream Recorder
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1069635 Bug ID: 1069635 Summary: Review Request: derrick - A Simple Network Stream Recorder Product: Fedora Version: rawhide Component: Package Review Severity: medium Priority: medium Assignee: nob...@fedoraproject.org Reporter: m...@fabian-affolter.ch QA Contact: extras...@fedoraproject.org CC: package-review@lists.fedoraproject.org Spec URL: http://fab.fedorapeople.org/packages/SRPMS/derrick.spec SRPM URL: http://fab.fedorapeople.org/packages/SRPMS/derrick-0.3-1.s.fc20.src.rpm Project URL: https://github.com/rieck/derrick Description: Derrick is a simple tool for recording data streams of TCP and UDP traffic. It shares similarities with other network recorders, such as tcpflow and wireshark, where it is more advanced than the first and clearly inferior to the latter. Derrick has been specifically designed to monitor application-layer communication. In contrast to other tools the application data is logged in a line-based ASCII format. Common UNIX tools, such as grep, sed awk, can be directly applied. Even replay of recorded communication is straight forward using netcat. Derrick supports on-the-fly compression and rotation of log files. The payloads of TCP sessions are re-assembled using Libnids and can be merged or truncated. UDP payloads are logged as-is. Details of lower network layers are omitted. https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1068747 --- Comment #26 from Ryan Lerch rle...@redhat.com --- (In reply to Mukundan Ragavan from comment #22) Ryan, That looks good. I think almost everything is done. Just a couple of minor issues and then I think it's done. [ ]: Package requires other packages for directories it uses. Note: No known owner of /usr/share/locale/sr_RS@latin/LC_MESSAGES, /usr/share/indicators, /usr/share/indicators/messages, /usr/share/locale/sr_RS@latin, /usr/share/indicators/messages/applications [ ]: Package must own all directories that it creates. Note: Directories without known owners: /usr/share/indicators, /usr/share/locale/sr_RS@latin, /usr/share/indicators/messages/applications, /usr/share/appdata, /usr/share/locale/sr_RS@latin/LC_MESSAGES, /usr/share/indicators/messages Here, based on my discussion on #fedora-devel, we can ignore the messages about the locales since these should be owned by the filesystem. The package must own /usr/share/indicators. So, add in %files section %{_datadir}/indicators/* instead of /usr/share/indicators/messages/applications/birdie so that the directory is owned by the package. Based on - https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Packaging: Guidelines#The_directory_is_wholly_contained_in_your_package. 2C_or_involves_core_functionality_of_your_package I believe that should be it. If you could please fix that, upload the spec and srpm (link is broken), I can run fedora-review again (just in case) and approve the package. Thanks, Updated and pushed to my git repo here. https://github.com/ryanlerch/my-fedora-package-reviews/commit/b85b072fea776ff597f50219d5b20025acea9510 -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
