Re: [PacketFence-users] Howto: Migrate Packetfence 6 and Packetfence-pki from server

2017-09-06 Thread Antoine Amacher via PacketFence-users

Hello Rokkhan,

You will need to migrate the content of your sqlite3 BD which is holding
CA, users certs and everything you configured on the PKI.

So you need to either transfer the DB file, or transfer the content.

The sqlite3 db is in /usr/local/packetfence-pki/db/

Let us know if that help.

Thanks

[PacketFence-users] WLC 2500 rebooting

2017-09-06 Thread Aaron Ridgewell via PacketFence-users
Hi All.

We have configured packetfence for webauth and everything seems to work as
expected.
Twice today we have finalised the configuration and started testing but the WLC
2500 has rebooted twice.
Without the packetfence guest ACL the WLC is stable and has been for a while.
Is there a certain firmware requirement for the WLC? Has anyone seen this
before?

Many thanks

Hello,

just setup aswell to user authentication on captive portal to ldap. But I got
this error when I login on the portal:

"you do not have the permission to register a device with this username"

where can I change the "permissions" for all authenticated ldap users, in order
to add devices?

[PacketFence-users] PF local PEAP - set node owner and role

2017-09-06 Thread Kylián Martin via PacketFence-users
Hello to everybody,
I have a few questions before I go into the proper configuration.

I set PF for authentication of local users - wireless 802.1x PEAP.
This works great.

Now I would like to achieve a bit more:
1 / nodes will not be registered - I do not want to allow MAB on wireless -
it's "out of box" feature and work great, but the node role is unset and owner
is "default"
2 / nodes will have the owner set to the user who authenticated the network
3 / nodes will have the role set to the user entry (column category)

Whats the best way to achieve this?
