no, I get the same behaviour, but it is non-deterministic some times it
works, some times it crashes.
Seems a bug in the program. I tried to package the update to version 2.4.0,
but gives even more crashes ...

So you could file a bug directly to the author as I did a long time ago (no
answer so far).

I can point you to a alternate program (I use this one, it works)

So, does Packman have any problem adding this package to its Build

Done, I added a _link to that package in our repository, but it fails with
 the
 following build error:

Can I see the full logfile? It worked for me locally :/

Research:
When I start xcave in a konsole I get a lot of output. This are the top

Maybe this has something to do with xml or gtk. But I'm no programmer.
So I send the rpm info what I have installed with gtk or xml.

[packman] suggestion: nodm package for SuSE

2010-03-14 Diskussionsfäden hrathh
Hey Packman Team,

I really would like to use a SuSE package for the automatic display manager
nodm.

There are already packages for Fedora available elsewhere.
What about a SuSE package for nodm on packman?

Maybe such a package would be created?
