[packman] MPlayer with VA-API
Hi, Is there any chance to build MPlayer with support for VA-API? Nows from MPlayer site: Newer ATI cards and Intel ATOM owners on Linux can utilize the VA-API hardware accelerated H.264, WMV3/VC1, MPEG2 and MPEG4 playback using MPlayer. Instructions can be found at http://www.splitted-desktop.com/~gbeauchesne/mplayer-vaapi/http://www.splitted-desktop.com/%7Egbeauchesne/mplayer-vaapi/ To make it real: MPlayer needs VA-API patches and need to be build against libvahttp://www.splitted-desktop.com/%7Egbeauchesne/libva/. Then we need install xvba-videohttp://www.splitted-desktop.com/%7Egbeauchesne/xvba-video/(XvBA backend for VA API - for fglrx driver) and/or vdpau-video http://www.splitted-desktop.com/%7Egbeauchesne/vdpau-video/(VDPAU backend for VA API - for nvidia driver). All necessary files can be found on http://www.splitted-desktop.com/~gbeauchesne/ -- ...::: Pozdrawiam / Greetings, ...::: Mariusz Fik ___ Packman mailing list Packman@links2linux.de http://lists.links2linux.de/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/packman
[packman] [PM] mediatomb 0.12.0-0.pm.1.1 (openSUSE 11.2/i586)
Hi Toni, I have spent many, many hours trying to get mediatomb installed on my SUSE 11.2 32-bit server. I now have all the missing dependencies installed except for one involving the mediatomb db backend. I receive the following error message: rpm -ivh mediatomb-mysql-0.12.0-0.pm.1.1.i586.rpm warning: mediatomb-mysql-0.12.0-0.pm.1.1.i586.rpm: Header V3 DSA signature: NOKEY, key ID 9a795806 error: Failed dependencies: mediatomb = 0.12.0 is needed by mediatomb-mysql-0.12.0-0.pm.1.1.i586 No doubt due to my inexperience. No help from google, any suggestions? Thanks, Gene Kinum 949-574-0722 ___ Packman mailing list Packman@links2linux.de http://lists.links2linux.de/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/packman
Re: [packman] [PM] gstreamer010 0.10.25-999.pm.1001.3 (openSUSE 11.0/i586)
Am Dienstag, 13. April 2010 schrieb Alexander Thuermer: Hi Toni i suppose from your name i should keep my mail in english my german is pretty good as I'm a german native speaker :) I have a simple questions, will there be newer versions of the gstreamer packages for OpenSuse 11.0? I seen that all newer gstreamer packages (0.10.28) are only built for OpenSuse 11.1 and 11.2. yes, gstreamer packages for 11.0 are depricated, they won't compile and/or I must disable a lot of plugins ... so I decided to stop this packages for 11.0 Or will the gstreamer for 11.0 will be depreciated? This would be a real pitty (i think 11.0 is one the best) (in addition i am also supposing that some quicktime via ip streaming support is broken in the current 0.10.25 for 11.0 but i have 2 test more and really not sure so i just ask if there will be newer version) Thanks in advance Alexander -- have fun Toni ___ Packman mailing list Packman@links2linux.de http://lists.links2linux.de/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/packman
