Aside form the URL in your title being totally messed up, packman.inode.at is currently not working. Changing to another repository will fix your problem. If you have had trouble changing I'd suggest it is because you haven't copied the url correctly. [packman] mpv smb and ffmpeg3
since a few months back mpv has required ffmpeg support for smb to play content over an smb network. This was fixed in ffmpeg4 for tumbleweed. https://lists.opensuse.org/opensuse-factory/2020-03/msg00145.html[1] However, Leap 15.2 uses ffmpeg3 which does not have smb support in place (at least in the opensuse/packman version) Any chance of getting the fix that was applied to ffmpeg4 backported to ffmpeg3 for leap 15.2? [packman] Taiwan Mirror
Hi I'm wondering what has happened to one of the Taiwan Packman mirrors? http://ftp.twaren.net/Linux/Packman/ It's still listed as an active mirror at http://packman.links2linux.org/mirrors and always seems to show a 1hr update. [packman] Chromium / chromium-ffmpeg H264 support
I don't know if the problem lies within chromium-ffmpeg or chromium itself but in the combination of Chromium (54.0.2840.90-85.1) & chromium-ffmpeg (54.0.2840.90-86.1) there is no H264 playback support. Youtube reports that h264 not supported in the browser and other sites refuse playback or fallback to another format. [packman] smplayer_enqueue.desktop
in openSUSE Leap 42.1 smplayer.desktop contains the line "X-KDE-Protocols=http,ftp,smb" This line allows media to be streamed over a network from a NAS drive for example. The X-DE-Protocols line is missing from smplayer_enqueue.desktop resulting in media accessed from a NAS drive being copied (entirely) to a local drive before playback begins. Simply adding the line "X-KDE-Protocols=http,ftp,smb" to smplayer_enqueue.desktop corrects the issue. Re: [packman] Avidemux
The only change made to avidemux 2.5.x was to update to a newer internal ffmpeg so there is either a bug in the newer ffmpeg or more likely some kind of incompatibility with the old avidemux which hasn't been developed for almost three years now. You could try avidemux 2.5.6-9001.4 from the factory repo or you can get a really old avidemux 2.5.6-9000.8 from the old 12.1 repo http://packman.inode.at/suse/openSUSE_12.2/Multimedia/ On 02/03/14 17:37, Hartmut wrote: A little bit more research: this misbehavior happens only with mpeg-files (DVB-recordings), regardless if transport-stream or (with ProjectX) program-stream.
