Hi Henne, I have seen that you are the creator of MPlayer rpms on packman. To my knowledge 1.0 rc2 is about 2 years old. Is there any reason why the svn version isn't provided from time to time? It looks like that mplayer doesn't release new versions but just refers to the svn. What is your take on this? The subject of your email clearly states that the packaged version is r29796, not plain 1.0RC2.
