libffmpeg-devel will not install under Yast in 11.2. It can't
fulfill its dependency on libdirac0. Both the 11.2 distro and
Packman versions of libdirac are 1.02 and both provide libraries
libdirac_encoder0 and libdirac_decoder0 and no
library libdirac0.
I don't se a problem here, libdirac_encoder0 has a provides entry for
libdirac0:
manf...@d620:~ rpm -q --provides libdirac_encoder0
libdirac = 0.7.0
libdirac0 = 1.0.0
libdirac_encoder.so.0()(64bit)
libdirac_encoder0 = 1.0.2-0.pm.1.10
libdirac_encoder0(x86-64) = 1.0.2-0.pm.1.10
YaST should solve this, I never had problemes here.
There is also the problem of many applications (k3b-codecs for
example) of not being able to install against the
ffmpeg libavcodec package due to unfulfilled dependencies on:
libavcodec.so.52(LIBAVCODEC_52)
Can't belive this, libavcodec52 package privides
libavcodec.so.52(LIBAVCODEC_52) in the 32-Bit version:
manf...@d620:~ rpm -qp --provides
/srv/ftp/pub/Packman/11.2/i586/libavcodec52-0.5.21651svn-0.pm.1.1.i586.rpm
libavcodec = 0.5.21651svn-0.pm.1.1
libavcodec.so.52
libavcodec.so.52(LIBAVCODEC_52)
libavcodec.so.52(libavcodec.so.52)
libavcodec52 = 0.5.21651svn-0.pm.1.1
libavcodec52(x86-32) = 0.5.21651svn-0.pm.1.1
Did you mix any repos?
