Look at his repo list, and all should be clear. ;-)

He did provide it, after I asked for it:

Sorry if I'm too confused, but why are you using Packman
suse/openSUSE_Leap_42.3/ repository at all? Shouldn't you be using a
Packman suse/openSUSE_Leap_15.0/ repository? Or rather 15.1?

You don't clearly say what distribution release you are using.

Well, post the zypper output that I asked, that would show which versions
exactly you have installed (and from where), and what is actually available.

That the version is marked in red means that it's not available in the
configured repos (anymore).

It probably is a left-over from previous Leap versions if you upgraded, but
you should be able to safely uninstall libopenshot13 as nothing should use it
anymore. (the openshot-qt package in Leap 15.0 uses libopenshot14)

And/or maybe openshot-qt and libopenshot were indeed available in Packman for
15.0 as well, but have been removed meanwhile (as it is included in the
standard repos anyway).

As I found out meanwhile, the OP likely uses Leap 42.3 though, where openshot-
qt and libopenshot were not included in the distribution yet and only
available from Packman.
Probably the openshot-qt 2.4.4 version (that needs a newer libopenshot)
slipped in by mistake.

But: Leap 42.3 was end-of-life 4 months ago and is no longer supported:
https://en.opensuse.org/Lifetime

So the advice would be to upgrade to a supported version. (preferably 15.1, as
15.0 will be EOL in a few weeks as well)

Otherwise, the only option would be to stick to the older openshot-qt 2.4.2,
which is still in the repo as well. Maybe lock the package to not update it
accidentally.

Kind Regards,
Wolfgang

I have libopenshot15 which claims to be 0.2.0-16.1-x86_64 from packman
(Leap 15.0) I also have libopenshot13 from packman (version marked in
red) and everything else, including libopenshot14 from opensuse. No idea

Are you sure?
I don't see any openshot-qt or libopenshot in Packman at all...

Also, package versions in Leap usually contain a -lp151 (or similar, depending
on the Leap version).
Probably you have some incompatible repo mixup.

What gives "zypper lr -d" and "zypper se -s openshot"?

From my Leap 15.1 system (with Packman):
  | libopenshot14 | Paket | 0.1.9-lp151.2.4 | x86_64 |
openSUSE-Leap-15.1-1

Yes the openshot should be deleted the -qt is the continuation of the

Out of curiosity, i experimented a bit (being on openSUSE 13.2 too).

I have melt from packman, and blender 2.72b from graphics installed and can see
a problem, but with only one of the title animation templates: running
dissolving text (the one with a blue on black preview) brings up the bad
blender path dialog with this error message: No frame was found in the output
from Blender

All the others seem to work well, but only for the default blender entry in
settings/blender path.

Next, I copied the blender executable to ~/bin, change blender path to
~/bin/blender, and while i can run it via terminal, openshot cannot run it from
there, so I suppose that is what Nicolas is seeing too for parallel installs...

I briefly looked at the sources but have to admit that my python isn't nearly
sufficient to make sense of the source code in acceptable time...
