RE: Code signing in Palm OS 5.0?
Palm (hardware side) says Digital code signing is a planned feature for Palm OS in their Tungsten Handheld Security for the Mobile Enterprise white paper ( http://www.palm.com/enterprise/products/mims/palm_enterprise_mims_security.p df ). A quick search for signing in the Palm OS Reference has nothing for code signing. I think you'll have to wait for the next OS version, whatever/whenever that is. dave David Tribble, Northrop Grumman IT (808) 680-0384 -Original Message- From: Bren Caperon [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] Subject: Code signing in Palm OS 5.0? Code signing in Palm OS 5.0?
I read in the Palm OS marketing literature that code signing would be supported in 5.0 but cannot find any evidence of it in the release so far. Does anyone know if signing/verification of executables is now supported?
