+1 for a doc or Google Drive. The other question is are you looking for
designs or implementation, or both :)

Vince,

I'm not sure of your use case. Our timeline view (
https://www.patternfly.org/pattern-library/data-visualization/timeline/) plots
data points rather than periods of time, so I don't think that would work.

Here is an example based on D3 https://github.com/dk8996/Gantt-Chart which
may work for you though.

A Card View supports the ability to click on a card to navigate. The view
optionally supports the ability to "check" multiple cards to perform
actions on them.

Re: [Patternfly] Examples of Communication/Confirmation via modal

2016-10-26 Thread Serena Doyle
Liz,

Delete confirmation is something that we have tried to standardize in
CloudForms. I know that there is some need by other products as well ( as
noted in a UXS meeting ).

I actually started an initial proposal for this pattern:
https://docs.google.com/document/d/1UvnNPrl35osBHR0mr7ACZXhr9qN6nZ2IxI2HEgtnwwE/

I'd be happy to take this notion of modal messaging to cover what you noted
above as part of the breakaway sprint :)

Understanding additional product reqs would be great, to understand if we
need to consider anything else.

Thanks,
- Serena

Matt, I also agree that we need both methods. It would be great if we
could provide guidance on when to use which method.

I wonder if the method would also depend on naming conventions used by the

Re: [Patternfly] PatternFly standard utility bar?

2016-10-21 Thread Serena Doyle
Matt, There are some conventions that I have been trying to push from our
side ... we have been trying to use (from left to right)

   1. Product Specific (shopping cart in case of Service UI)
   2. Notification Drawer
   3. Help (with a drop down with access to About)
   4. User

Let's chat this afternoon at 1 from a Mgmt Perspective, but I think this
would be great to have in PatternFly as well. I think that different
products vary interaction with User icon as well. I'll add this to the
spreadsheet shared by the UXS.

Greg, thanks for sending your info. We should synch up on this as well!
