I don't know if the home page is just temporarily unavailable or if Ventrillo is no longer being developed. Any information would be appreciated. Otsdj
Hello Wally and the list! The following is the information on OTSdj I am using currently: Operating System: Windows XP Home. OtsDJ Version (the latest: 1.+) Scripts: Snowman JAWS 4 Scripts. JAWS 4.02 Note: Right now, I am using the demo version, as he has not sent me a purchase form yet, but I think he will soon though. There seems to be a lot to do just getting Otsdj set up (graphics labelers automatic and manually). Anyway, I hope this info will generate more assistance with the program. Re: MLB.com archives
well, wiht the archives, you only get windows media player coming up, and unfortunatley, it appears that you can't fast forward through the game. if they ran it through real player, you'd be able to click on it wiht the mouse and then make it start up in real player, which would then allow you to fast forward through the clips no problem. marco. - Original Message - From: Tim Grady [EMAIL PROTECTED] To: PC audio discussion list. Re: MP3 Direct Cut
Hello Ann: Can you tell me if you've solved this problem yet, and what you use? I've got files that I've recorded at fast speed that I need to slow down1 Thanks! *** MQ *** *** Home Page: http://mywebpages.comcast.net/mickeyqu *** - Original Message - From: Hello Ann: To: PC audio discussion list. [EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Tuesday, March 30, 2004 8:42 AM Subject: MP3 Direct Cut Hi, this really is a remarkable program for manipulating MP3's. There is one thing that I have been doing with my Goldwave program when recording Library of Congress talking books to MP3. I do the recording using a normal stereo cassette player, and to slow the file down, I use the Change Playback Rate, and usually set the samples to close to have of the original recording samples. For instance, 44100 playback rate is set to 23500, and this slows the sound of the file down so that it doesn't sound like a chipmunk. LOL! Is there a way to do this with the MP3 Direct Cut program? It would be great to be able to record directly in to MP3, which would definitely save time. But, in regards to the NLS talking books, it might be best to just keep using my Goldwave program, and save the files as mp3. Re: Strange microphone problem
If your just speaking into the mike then a uni directional mike is better because it just picks up what sounds that are in front of it and not to the sides. Therefore, it would likely reduce some of the strange noise that it is picking up from around the room. cheers! - Original Message - From: morey Worthington [EMAIL PROTECTED] To: PC audio discussion list. I would think it is the version that picks up from all directions. Is this bad? Could the version that picks up only in front of it be the better choice? Re: total recorder and sound forge inquiries.
Hi, Total recorder does have some editing features. You can bracket a file and save that part if the file. It's suppose to have a fade option but I haven't figured that out yet. You can skip through a file very fast. You can delete anything out side the selected file. You can delete everything before the cursor. Stuff like that. It's no way as powerful as sound forge, but I like it very much for it's simplicity. Regards Ken At 01:04 AM 4/10/2004, you wrote: Hi folks! Re: turtle beach santa cruz
Hello Tony, I recently installed the same sound card, and the same thing happened to me. So I just opened my windows volume control, and found that the controls were all set to 80. In Window Eyes, that means that the setting is quite low, so to achieve maximum volume, I set all the levels to 0, and that took care of the problem. Hope it helps. Re: MLB.com archives
Like I said before and I'm not guessing at this, if the imbedded player is the one for realplayer streams, there is a nice little graphic for skipping forward through a stream. I think there might be one for the Windows Media stream but I have to wait until I can get someone to read the graphics. - Original Message - From: Marco Curralejo [EMAIL PROTECTED] To: PC audio discussion list.
