Hi. Just press enter when you get that looping. That should start the movie playing. Shane At 03:39 PM 4/25/2004, you wrote: Hi Folks I've just installed power dvd on my machine. I've put in a video (region 2, UK) and it plays the title, and the first bit of the opening credits, at least I think that's what it is. anyway, I press l for menu and find that most of the items, audio, angle, root, and even chapter menu are disabled. How on earth do I get it to play the actual film itself? The first bit just keeps looping. Help please!!! I've tried n for next but that seems to do nothing. I can with sighted assistance get into one of the features about the film - it's the Pianist btw), but as I say how on earth do I get to the actual film itself? RE: copying stream url's
The actual file apparently is not in temporary internet files any more, just in the player (real alternative), and I've looked everywhere for it, since it's no longer on the web page either.-- But apparently, to find the url, you have to go into the properties of the ram file. -Original Message- From: Barry Chapman [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Saturday, April 24, 2004 12:40 AM To: PC audio discussion list. Subject: Re: copying stream url's Hi Maureen, If you can still get to that file, go into Windows Explorer and copy it to somewhere else. That location is for temporary files and depending on your Internet Explorer settings, it might not remain when IE is closed. If you can go back to the original source page, right click on the link, choose save target as and save the file. As Jeff said, you open it as a file, not a URL. If you want the actual URL, open the file in Notepad and you will find the URL as part or all of the text. Hope this helps. The url looks like this: C:\WINDOWS\Temporary Internet Files\Content.IE5\JA1CYT8A\radiotwo[1].ram I cannot just paste this in because of the first part. It won't copy over. How do I modify the file name to be able to do this? RE: downloading music
If you have a couple of GB to share, DCPlusPlus is the way to go. Find it on Sourceforge.net, there are also scripts for it, but don't remember the url's but a google search for something like Jaws scripts for DC++ should turn them up.
