2004-09-13 Thread kevin and emma
hi tim, in the end i just reinstalled real player and it now works okay.
i've a vague memory that i started listening to the miami game on saturday
and when the feed went off i got a verbal message, like it was part of the
stream saying something like, this secure link is now out of date? never had
that before. well i managed the oakland game and the minasota game yesterday
both okay so guess problem solved. thanks to those who offered their help.

hi again, the only bit i can add is that if i manually ask real player
to
play once i'e used an nfl link, it sounds like real player is trying to
connect to something as i can here my computer doing something. this
goes
 on
for about 2 mintues or so then a web page opens which is:

hi, well i'm getting the same tonight. i've tried at least 8 different
  teams
and nothing. not a sound out of real player. i don't get it at all!
i'm
getting no error messages from the player, i'm getting absolutely
 nothing

I experienced that same stopping and starting several times
throughout
  the
afternoon. By the end of the game, however, both the Titans and
  Dolphins
streams worked normally.
So, you are not alone and the problem wasn't on your end.

The latest version of Real Alternative is 1.25 and one place where you
can download it is at www.whitestick.co.uk/download.html. I hope this

Hi, listers. I plan to broadcast the audio
 described version of the
 Passion
of the christ this weekend. I'd like to get an
idea of how many would be
interested in tuning in and what time is good for
 most. I can broadcast
anytime from, say, 9 p.m. central time this
 evening, to about 8 A.M.
central time on sunday. If those who would tune
in, will e-mail me on or
  off list at
  [EMAIL PROTECTED]
and let me know, I'll go from there. also, spread
the word to any of those
outside of the lists you feel might be interested.
 Please keep in mind,
that since I do have a broadband connection, there
 are only so many users
 I
can have listening at one time. Thanks in advance
 for your interest.

2004-09-13 Thread kevin and emma
nothing is the answer. and personally as i live in the UK, mlb.com and
mlb.tv are the only real access i have to baseball. my only real problem
with mlb.tv is a lot of games broadcast the away teams feed. guess this is
something to do with copyright and the like though.

Unfortunately, I'm not in a position to afford mlbtv, and the tv
descriptions are not nearly as good as the radio descriptions. I wonder
what would happen if a bunch of us started complaining to mlb.com and
threatened not to renew next year if they didn't improve their quality.
Maybe we should all call their toll-free number, which if I remember
 correctly is 866-800-1275.

I was really amazed with NFL Field Pass today. Last year the audio
was
  not
as good as mlb.com. And that's a real insult, believe me. But today,
I
have listened to some of the Steelers feed and Some of the Atlanta
feed
  and
both were just excelent. Of course, last year I was on dialup and
this
  year
I have broadband. I wonder if that would make that much difference in
 the
audio quality. Maybe mlb.com should take some lessons because their
 audio
quality is still very bad. I don't know if i'm even going to pay for
it
again next year if they don't do some improving.

If you're signed into Realplayer than that's all you need to sign
 in.
  I
don't really no what's happening but one guess is you hit a
 commercial
break. On some of the feeds there is silence during the
commercial
breaks.

 i
go to nfl.com, go to the appropriate page, hit enter on the
miami
   feed,
realplayer opens, and just sits there! anyone else having
 problems?
  am
   i
supposed to sign in to field pass somewhere first? i had this
same
problem
for the new england game thursday night, rather the indianapolis

   in
that case. i gave up in the end and when back to the archive the

Re: Copying a CD in NeroB

The option for source drive can be found in the Copy Options tab if you're
not using the Nero wizard. Otherwise, if you are using the wizard, the
source drive is requested on the third screen of the dialogue.

Hello List!

I want to make an exact copy of a CD in Nero. Each time I check or click on
the copy cd button, I get an image of the disk and then it copies in the
same drive.

For example, I have two sony drives on my system (a Sony CRs80 CD/Combo
Drive and a Sony DVD/CD recorder). I want to put my source disc in CD Drive
F (the CD/DVD Combo player/recorder) and have it copied to my Sony DVD
Drive (drive g).

I don't see an option for source drive and target drive. Where is this
found?

I called xm radio today and they stated that the xmpcr is temporarily no

available again and if you've had problems with yours? I understand it is
