Re: what program do I need?

2005-12-22 Thread G. McFarlane
Hi Ted
If you are wanting to write avi files to dvd you must first convert them to
mpeg (mpg) files. There are may solutions on

www.vcdhelp.com

Nero can do this. I myself prefer a program called tmpgenc. There's tmpgenc
express 3 which will convert many files into mpg files, and there's tmpgenc
dvd creator which will put them onto dvd. Both these programs are fairly
accessible to Jaws.

Tmpgenc have recently changed their name to tsunami and slightly updated
products can be bought from them.

www.tmpg-inc.com

Also both programs are available on trial. They do need a bit of jaws
cursoring at times and in certain places a little sighted help, but for most
purposes, once set, they're fairly accessible.

should help here.
Others may have other preferences.

Take care.

Gordon McFarlane

Re: FM transmitters

2005-12-22 Thread Jerry Richer
Reed! The most popular RF wireless headphone I sell is by Advent.
They get eight hours on a charge and sound great. The advertised range is
300 feet but I wouldn't count on them for more than 100. They are $90.00.
Other popular RF wireless headphones are by Sennheiser.
Most everyone advertises 300 feet as the range for their RF wireless
headphones.
Bluetooth headphones and keyboards by definition work up to 30 feet.
Any Bluetooth device works up to 30 feet only.
