I don't think so.

Ibok is a propritary system and it requires that the step between two used
frequency on the FM band to be 400 KHZ.

while 400 KHZ step is probably used in the US, the FM band in Europe use 150 or

I know for sure that in France, the Ibok technology have little or not

but we have a network of very little local stations for which this technology
is too expensive anyway and not realistic.

you know, the problem with the digital radio, no matter the technology,
is that you have to take in account the geographical side of the country and
the way analog frequency bands are currently used , available or not.

where are the stations added in replay AV

2006-04-02 Thread joanne
I understand about how to add shows in Replay Radio AV, but there are also
options to add stations so you can just tune into the stations of your
choice if you want to. But when I add a station, not a show, I don't know
where to look for it. I see list of shows but no station list. Am I
doing something wrong, or should I be doing something more with URL finder
instead of just hitting add on a station? Thanks.

Re: where are the stations added in replay AV

2006-04-02 Thread Jim Fettgather
It seems like the easiest way to add stations to the list is to go to the
media guide.
Then, find the link in the media guide labeled stations.
If you're using Jaws, you might hear something like:
images/stations
You will encounter an edit box in which you can type the name of a station.
On the resulting page, usually below the name of the station, there will be
an Add link.
When activated, the typical Add Show ReplayAv dialog should appear the
difference being that because you clicked on a station rather than a show,
there will be no scheduled recording times.
When you click OK, the station should appear in your list of shows and
stations, and can be heard by activating the Tune button by pressing Alt+T.
Hope this is helpful.

Hi Pele
It's quite simple. Look for a bit of text that says, If you don't
have a pay pal account, click here button.
Press enter on that button. On the next page you can enter all the
necessary information.
Card type, credit card number, expeiration, etc.
It really is there, and it really does work, I just went there myself
and it works.

Of course, since I already bought the tutorial i didn't need to buy
it again, but all the necessary fields are on that page.
Hope that helps.

Re: GET GOING WITH GOOGLE

2006-04-02 Thread Scott Blanks
Hi there,

I think you are headed in the right direction, but it sounds as if you might
not have ventured all the way down the page. There is a section below the
paypal payee info which says:
If you do not currently have a PayPal account,

This section comes immediately after the paypal payee table ends, and before
the paypal log in table begins. If you are using Jaws or Window Eyes, your
screen reader will say table end as you arrow down. The very next line will
be the text I quoted above. Press enter on the button and the web form will
appear for entering credit card info.

So, in short, arrow down the page, and don't stop when you hear Pay to: Out
of Sight Ltd., etc. Keep going folks.

Scott

The major thing I thought you can't do with audacity is selecting. That's
pretty major, really. How is it that those guys that make those mash-ups
that Adam Curry once played on the daily source code make stuff just the
right speed, remove vocals perfectly, and mix it up just right? I never got

frequency on the FM band to be 400 KHZ.

while 400 KHZ step is probably used in the US, the FM band in Europe use
150 or 200 KHZ to accomodate more radio stations.

I know for sure that in France, the Ibok technology have little or not
supporter, only afew big commercial stations.

but we have a network of very little local stations for which this
technology is too expensive anyway and not realistic.

you know, the problem with the digital radio, no matter the technology,
is that you have to take in account the geographical side of the country
and the way analog frequency bands are currently used , available or not.

Very, very big sigh. Dab, or digital audio broadcasting is a form of
radio
popular in Europe and being introduced to most other parts of the
world...except North America. In North America, there is a completely
different form of digital radio branded HD radio, also known more
technically as Iboq. What this means is that in a few years time,
 you're
going to need one radio for the US and Canada, and another radio for
everywhere else. I suspect that after playing for a few years with this
nonsense, the US will go the way of the rest of the world, just as has
happened with GSM cell phones. You can now by HD radios in the US, I
 believe
I saw a very nice one on the cCrane Company web site. Some of the
 digital
radios will stream data that appears on a screen and I am not aware of
any
accessible means of getting to this with the US system. There is a
talking
DAB radio on the UK market now.

The Minx, the Internet radio station that plays all the great love
 songs.

 Subject: DAB RADIO?

 Hi Everyone:

What is a DAB radio and are they popular in the United States? Wat
would
be a good source to purchase this type of radio?

 Thanks for all help.

 Sincerely,
 Olusegun
