How to tell what bit rate a file was made at?
Hello, I have a problem. Grin I have text aloud and have made many books into MP3 files. I some how have changed my file settings and don't remember what the bit rate and sample settings I used that work with my CD player. I have a few of the previous disks here that I know worked with my player but I can't seam to find out how or rather what settings they were recorded at. Smile Can this be done? I have media player and Nero 6.? Can one of these help me to find out? I didn't bring my players manual with me so I can't simply look it up in the documentation as to what it will accept. Grin so that is why I am trying to sneak around the manual. Smile If anyone knows how I might find out how these files were recorded I would greatly appreciate it. Re: How to tell what bit rate a file was made at?
Donna, Thank you so much! That worked. Now I know that the files I had made would not have worked. Grin At the worst the only thing I did was inconvenience a few electrons. Smile The CD player works with a 112 bit but I could definitely hear a HUGE difference when I messed up and made them at 24. YUCK!!! Thanks again for saving me. bear share problem
Hi, Ever since I've upgraded to JFW 7.1, I've had this strange problem with bear share. When I search for a song, or whatever- and press f6 to view the list, and if there are songs, I can't aro through them. It gives me the ding sound, as if I was at the bottom or top of the window when meanwhile there are 50 or so songs to choose. Has anyone resolved this issue? Does anyone have it? I've had the program on two computers, and I got this issue with both. (a desktop and a notebook). thanks Tyler Have a good day - Tyler Wood --- Tyler Wood skype: the_conman283 msn/windows messinger: [EMAIL PROTECTED] e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] best tv guide on the internet: http://www.zap2it.com best internet radio: http://www.bluebeat.com soon to have a live journal! RE: bear share problem
I had the same problem with version 7.0 as well, so downgrading may not solve your problem. Re: bear share problem
Well I can't downgrade, anyway. I can't find the software on the fs website, for one thing. For another, this is a reletively new computer so I had the demo already on cd. but I'm taking it in to the department of ed to get jfw authorized, I'll get them to reinstal 7.0 on the notebook. When i had it, 7.0 worked flawlessly and I've got no use for the new features of 7.1 anyway. I'm getting an XM PCR, have some questions installing and activating it.
Hi. I've been a happy XM user for 3 months, and I've decided to get the PCR to have access to titles on the PC. I have several questions, though. Is the manual for the device in an accessible format? Are there shortcut keys for the PCR, or are there scripts available for JAWS? Can I get the receiver ID from the PCR display on the PC? When you install the software, are the USB drivers installed, or do you let Windows detect them before you install the software, or let Windows detect the new USB device after the software is installed? Something tells me I have other questions, but I can't think of them now. Thanks in advance for any info.
