Looks good, might even try it, but I'm not looking for files with exact matches in their contents. True, I might have one or two of those, but different rippers do different things with wav data, and I might have the same song at two different bit-rates or sample rates, and this program would certainly not pick those up. RE: mp3 cds vs data cds
I think the difference in .mp3 and data cd's particularly in Easy CD Creater is not in playability but in playlist management. I don't believe that the data form supports playlisting while the .mp3 option does permit you to create and burn a playlist to maintain track grouping and order. -Original Message- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Denny Daughters Sent: Wednesday, September 27, 2006 7:55 PM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED]; PC audio discussion list. So that's how they did it. They edited an .ini file. I hope Jaws 5.10 uses that as I am trying to get JFW to use my C-mMedia card and everything else onto my Sound Max. I think your best bet is to put playback on one, then recording on the other. That is the easiest way of putting JFW onto one and having it not interfere with recording. Well, actually a MP3 cd is a data cd. If you want to burn a MP3 cd you choose to burn a data cd, and the MP3 files are burned to the cd in just the same manner that data files are because MP3 files are data files. - Original Message - From: frank deweese [EMAIL PROTECTED] To: PC audio discussion list. pc-audio@pc-audio.org Sent: Wednesday, September 27, 2006 10:42 PM Subject: Re: mp3 cds vs data cds :I might be wrong but I don't think you can play a data disc on an mp 3 : player. a more seasoned computer user can tell you I am sure. : - Original Message - : From: Denny Daughters [EMAIL PROTECTED] : To: [EMAIL PROTECTED]; PC audio discussion list. : Pc-audio@pc-audio.org : Sent: Wednesday, September 27, 2006 8:54 PM : Subject: mp3 cds vs data cds : : : Hi guys, : Is there a difference between data cds and mp3 cds?
