Subject: Studio Recorder

I have just been playing with Studio Recorder for the first time.
The mix command along with the Arming the document seems to be a great
feature. However when mixing the two files, I thought I would have been able
to preview the sound as I adjust the levels, but this does not seem to be
possible, it seems like you have to adjust the levels by trial and error and
if one of the source of destination is too loud you have to re do it. Am I
missing something?

Joe,
can't help with the below query, so sorry, but thought I'd ask just where
you been hiding.

Wondering if you can help me out.
Looking for some help, regarding Converting, burning .kar files.
I have been Converting .cdg .mp3 files for burning in Nero to make Karaoke
disks for my wifes Karaoke machine.

The .kar files are not so easy though.
I have the Power Karaoke program, which does the job, but is not very speech
friendly, infact, it is hopeless.
Any help would be very helpful.
Billy,
good luck with the tape problem.

hello friends, i think this might be the list to contact with my strange
request, but even if you can't help me directly you might point me in the
right direction, i am looking for a power pack for an old open-reel
recorder, i have quite a lot of material recorded on open reel that i want
to transfer to Cd, the recorder i used [centuries ago] was a uher 4000
report IC, it does take batteries, but eats them like cookies, so i am
endeavouring to find a power pack for the machine, yes, i can hear you
falling off your chairs with disbelieving laughter, before the days of
sound forge, cool edit, flash cards, mini disks, etc. i used my what was
then called a portable recorder it weighed half a ton, but the quality
was quite good if one had a good microphone, which i did, and it was mono,
but i would dearly love to be able to get my hands on the power pack for
this machine, it took five inch reels, and recorded at three speeds, the
 top
one being seven-and-a-half IPS, hope someone might be able to advise me,
 thanks, joe.

I'm cureious, why do you need to ajust the levels within the software
itself, can you not ajust the levels using the Windows Volume
control? That way you can hear what's happening when you're recording
 with whatever you're recording with.

Two questions

2007-01-27 Thread Amy Phillippi
Hi all,

I have two questions. The first should be pretty straight forward I think.
How do you create a play list in Winamp? I have 2.9, and I can't get the
help to work with Window-eyes. I can't get much of anything to work with
Window-Eyes in that program, but any help you can give would be great!

Second, I'm thinking of getting a new computer. I have some sudio files on
this computer, but this computer doesn't have a drive that can burn CD's.
It only has a CD-ROM. How am I going to get the audio stuff off this
computer when the time comes? Thanks.

total recorder pauses at beginning and end

2007-01-27 Thread blsmass
I do have the professional version of TR. If I could just learn to take
the pauses of the beginning and end I would be better off. Thanks. Kurt

Re: music resource

2007-01-27 Thread Kathy Szinnyey
Hi, Edward. I use Google a lot for this to get me started toward resources.
I'll often put in the name of a group or artis and the word discography in
the search field. You might get fans' home pages about those things along
with pages about sources to buy them. hth

Peace,
Kathy

Media Player 10

2007-01-27 Thread Jim Wohlgamuth
Hi There GROUP!
Was wondering if anyone knows where I might be able to obtain a copy
of Windows Media Player 10. I prefer this since this version is what
I am use to as well as the fact that it doesn't seem to have as much
excess bagage with it. It seems as though the simpler they make
things, the more complicated they seem to get..? If anyone knows
where I might obtain a version of WMP10 I would be extremely greatful!

Re: Two questions

2007-01-27 Thread Doc
the simplest way is to buy a crossover ethernet cable and plug it into the
network cards of both machines. On the older machine be sure to share the
drive on which you want to copy out the files. Then just copy and paste
from one machine to the other.

Subject: Two questions

Thanks.
