Re: Tune into ACB Radio World with the brand-new ACB Radio Tuner!

Hi Steve,
If I wanted to get working with this radio program, after downloading it,
then what. Is there a tutorial or help documents that will get a person
going on the right track?
If you do not have knowledge of this, is there a source to find out?
Thank you very much,
Morey Worthington

Re: lowering the volume for voiceover

2007-05-01 Thread Brandon Hicks
Hi,
I do have a USB headset, which is what I'm planning to pipe JAWS
through. The only part I wasn't sure about was getting the volume to
fade down. Did you have to turn the volume down or did Oddcast do that
automatically?

Thanks
Brandon

a simular program to GoldWave

2007-05-01 Thread Mr. Juan
Hello all:
for some unknown reason GoldWave started given me an error and can't use it.
I am looking for another program which is simular or better to use instead of
GoldWave. something that will do multiconversions and that will allow me to
convert from within various extentions.
would very much appreciate a name and if there are plug ins available for it.

Re: Tune into ACB Radio World with the brand-new ACB Radio Tuner!

2007-05-01 Thread Steve Pattison
The ACB Radio Tuner is very easy to use. After you download the
program you need to install it. When you start the tuner you can get
help by pressing the F1 key. The tuner has been designed to work
well with Window-Eyes and JAWS. The interface uses completely
standard Windows controls such as buttons, menus and there are many
hotkeys available. I hope this gets you started.

If conversion is all you're after, then Sound Forge would most certainly
be overkill. I've had very good success with Easy CD-DA Extractor. It
has an amazing number of file types that it can handle and does the
conversions between them seamlessly. One thin you can do is select your
files from within Windows Explorer, pull up your context menu, and there
will be an option to convert these files using Easy CD-Da Extractor.

A lot of the encoders have been improved since that other version, there
are some speed improvements as well. For me, this is worth the

Direct speech output

2007-05-01 Thread John Sanfilippo
Hello,

I write programs as a hobby using power basic. I thought I recalled
someone saying that there some sdk's available which could make possible
writing output directly to speech. I'd be interested in learning more
about this.

Help appreciated,
Js
