Rick Harmon Demonstrates Using GoldWave 5.25 With VISTA On Tek Talk Monday,
June 30, 2008

The Accessible World News Wire, Indianapolis, Indiana USA

The Accessible World Tek Talk online training this week will focus on
GoldWave, a professional digital audio editor that can be used to play,
edit, mix, restore, and analyze audio, or apply special effects, such as
fade, equalizer, doppler, mechanize, echo, reverse, time warp, noise
reduction, pop/click filter. Although it has been considered one of the most
popular and highest rated audio editors for Windows, computer users now need
to know if it is compatible with Microsoft's VISTA and highly respected
computer trainer Rick Harmon will answer that question.

Demonstrating the latest version of GoldWave, he will show the differences
of the audio sub systems on XP and Vista and will discuss the difficulties
in recording with Vista. He also will describe setting up GoldWave on Vista
using the record now and stereo mix methods commonly used for recording on
the PC.

Plan now to attend this informative event. Rick promises to answer questions
immediately following his presentation.

Re: Finding album information:

2008-06-26 Thread DJ DOCTOR P
High Albert,
If you know what you're doing, you can get this info off of the CD with
Windows Media Player.
Version 11 is very good for this.
If all else fails, you can always get someone to read the liner notes that
comes with the CD.
Because in those liner notes, is where you will find all that info.
My best regards.
  John.

the information I'm wanting isn't recorded in media players. I want to know
who's in the group for example. this is more important for jazz bands since
their membership changes more often.

High Albert,
This is one of the many drawbacks of downloaded audio.
The best way I found around that is, to buy the CD's.
You can get more info from just ripping them in Windows Media Player.
And on top of that, the sound quality isn't all that good sounding.
Just a few things you may want to think about.
My best regards.

The following features and bug fixes have been implemented:

5. Added the Winamp Bookmark Manager. Currently it allows you to play any
