Fwd: Main Menu for this Week
From: Chrissie Cochrane [EMAIL PROTECTED] To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Hi Folks On this week's Main Menu, Jamie Pauls talks with Serotek's Riccie Inger about System Access 3.0 due for release at the end of September. I then talk with Michael Feir about his publication Personal Power, a beginners' guide to computers. We follow that with an interesting talk by Geoff Shang on the do's and don'ts of audio editing, after which we hear about a new phone email system called Voice on the Go,. Finally Jamie Pauls returns with a feature on the MX Skype Recorder. All this on Main Menu, the first airing of which is at 01:00 UTC on Wednesday 17 September, 9pm Eastern, 6pm Pacific on ACB Radio Mainstream, then repeated every four hours. Voice morphing software wanted:
Someone on the list gave me the idea to ask here. I have been wanting to purchase for years a program originally made by Voxware who's name I don't exactly know. It was the absolute best voice morphing software I have ever seen. It was made in the early 1990s and probably cost around $200 or more. You could record a persons voice saying something and then record your own voice and use the other persons voice sample to say what you said. It was foll quality audio and you would have absolutely no way to know that the other person didn't record it in the first place. It wasn't the garbage voice morphing stuff that is out there today for cellphones etc. it was as high fidelity as your recording and playback equipment would allow. Does anyone remember the name of the program and better yet have it and want to sell it cause I would deffinately buy it. I have contacted voxware and the company is so revamped that no body there even knew they made a product like that at one time. Its a real shame it disappeared. Sam Encoders and StationPlayList Streamer on same system at same time and using Winamp
Hello List! I have been using the Spacial Audio's Winamp Encoder to connect my stream to my shoutcast server for years. Recently, I purchased SPL's Stream program. I have had the toughest time trying to connect my streams when both programs are on the system, with shoutcast always seeming to want to connect, even when it is not even chosen as the encoder I want. Should I only one on the system at once? Or can I use Streamer as my encoder program and service for Winamp instead of the Sam Encoder. Re: needing good noise reduction for Gold Wave
I'm an owner of Goldwave but I've neglected the exploration of much of the software but I'm sure that Goldwave has a Noise Reduction plug-in built-in already? Fwd: 4g ipod nano absolutely brilliant
Hi everyone! What follows is a forwarded message, it has been forwarded with the kind permission of the original author so if anyone has any questions about the content of the forwarded message then please contact the author directly, his email address is quoted. Finally just to avoid confusion in the message content, the Ipod 4G Nano refers to a forth generation Ipod Nano and not an Ipod Nano with 4GB of memory, the forth generation Ipod comes in 8GB and (soon to be released in Australia) 16GB models. Cheers Begin forwarded message: From: Scott Rutkowski [EMAIL PROTECTED] Date: 12 September 2008 9:09:01 PM Subject: 4g ipod nano absolutely brilliant HI guys and girls. Ok firstly apple have delivered. the new ipod nano 4g is better then I had expected. The menus talk not all of them but the ones we need do actually speak. There's no clipping the speech sounds brilliant and it just keeps up with you when you move your finger around the click wheel. I'll be doing a demo mp3 so if anyone wants to host it on their podcast feed write to me privatly at [EMAIL PROTECTED] letting me know how I can get it to you. I'm not submitting it to blind cool wreck simply because they have snubbed ppodcasts in the past and they take too bloody long to post a submitted podcast from users. I've decided this is a special treat for all my mac followers here on these lists so i think you will enjoy what I plan on producing. It's absolutely fantastic a couple of issues i'm reporting to apple such as no way of obtaining battery status info but other then this totally usable. it's hard getting used to the click wheel but after you have all heard my presentation, you'll all want to disguard your ipods for a 4g nano guaranteed. i'm really very very impressed and i think we'll have more ipod users before we no it. ** End Forwarded Message *** ** Dane Trethowan From Melton Victoria Australia mailto:Dane Trethowan [EMAIL PROTECTED] phone +61 3 9005 8589 Fax/TTY +61 3 9743 7954 mobile/sms: +614 418 773 532 MSN: [EMAIL PROTECTED] skype: callto:grtdane12 ** Jonathan Mosen List Founder Audio List Help, Guidelines, Archives and more... http://www.pc-audio.org To unsubscribe from this list, send a blank email to: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
Re: needing good noise reduction for Gold Wave
Waves Audio makes some excellent stuff. I'm not sure if it works with GW, but it used to with SF so it certainly should. It's certainly pricey. - Original Message - From: stever2525 [EMAIL PROTECTED] To: PC audio discussion list.
