sound edditing software and sound board questions
Hello folks. I have some questions. First does anyone know if Sony Vagus works with Jaws? Second, I will be working at a radio station as an intern. I wonder what is the best way I can tell if my levels are to high before I put something over the air. Do you know if I can get something that will beep at me if the levels are high? This is because I will not be able to see the meter on the board. I will talk to you later. Re: Is there a device that will let you play a thumb drivethroughastario?
Hi You can buy a stario that will do it. But honestly, I'd use an AV cable, because buying a stario that could play thumb drives is a waste of money- your not getting very much money back- because the thumb drive costs a fraction of the system. contact details: email: [EMAIL PROTECTED] and others msn: [EMAIL PROTECTED] skype: the_conman283 system details: Hp pavillion dv5220CA notebook pc AMD Turion(tm) 64 Mobile Technology ML-37 2.0 GHZ, 1024 mb DDR ram, Fujitsu 100 gb 4500 RPM Hard Drive, connecsant AC-link audio - Original Message - From: Alex Follo [EMAIL PROTECTED] To: PC Audio Discussion List pc-audio@pc-audio.org Sent: Wednesday, October 22, 2008 9:41 PM Subject: Re: Is there a device that will let you play a thumb drivethroughastario? Plug the end with 1 jack into a laptop, with a thumb drive in it, and plug the other two into a stario or tv equipt with 2 stario jacks. hth contact details: email: [EMAIL PROTECTED] and others msn: [EMAIL PROTECTED] skype: the_conman283 system details: Hp pavillion dv5220CA notebook pc AMD Turion(tm) 64 Mobile Technology ML-37 2.0 GHZ, 1024 mb DDR ram, Fujitsu 100 gb 4500 RPM Hard Drive, connecsant AC-link audio - Original Message - From: Alex Follo To: Sent: Sunday, October 12, 2008 3:42 PM Subject: Is there a device that will let you play a thumb drive through astario? -- Alex Is there a device that will let you plug in a thumb drive and act like a CD player, reading the songs, and sending them through RCA to a stario receiver? mailing list for music
Friends, I just bought a Yamaha 535 keyboard. I would like to learn to play it. I have no music background. I would like to know if there is a mailing list I can subscribe to that could help me get started. Thanks for any help. home recording
Hello, I play piano, ukulele and sing. I want to put together a demo album of stuff I've written. I have a set of binaural mics (in-ear), a mono mic (both of these are from Sound Professionals), and another mono mic and set of regular stereo mics (from Giant Squid Audio.) I have a Zoom H2 recorder and use Soundforge and Studio Recorder. What will be the best way for me to record? Should I record in tracks, or vocals and music together? How about getting rid of room noise as the room I'm recording in is kind of echoey. Any tips? Re: Is there a device that will let you play a thumb drivethroughastario?
If you are talking headset to RCA, I know about that, but, I feel there is a los of quality, like a headphone jack, just doesn't put out the sound that an RCA device does, and the conversion? It just doesn't sound that good. On 10/23/08, constantine (on laptop) [EMAIL PROTECTED] wrote: Hi You can buy a stario that will do it.
