But there is something I have been wondering about. Is there any kind of software around which would allow you to do the following. Set beginning and ending time for recording from an internet radio station while you are not at home. And then the tricky one: It must connect to the internet radio station when starting the recording by itself and then disconnect when the recording is finished. This means that the recording must be completely automatic. Re: how to add book mark in winnamp?
iqual, the bookmark will only mark the file in the list, not a time within it. I know that the window-eyes scripts allow for a time bookmark, not sure if there is a jfw equivalent. In any case, you add a bookmark with alt control b Dave c. bahr On 8/1/2011 3:16 AM, Iqbal Hosen wrote: dear all, could anyone please tell me how to add book mark in winnamp. i use to listen long audio. so i need to mark where i last ended. or if there is any player by which i can locate easily where i ended last. wishing you best of luck and looking forward to hearing from you soon. iqbal. Re: how to add book mark in winnamp?
JFW does have a bookmarking feature for Winamp. I don't have Winamp, JFW or Windows running right now, but this is all documented in the JFW help and documentation for Winamp. RE: how to add book mark in winnamp?
You can set a time bookmark in win amp. As the list of commands say when you hit insert h for the jaws key commands it is m to mark the time., alt shift m to go through the list of times and control shift m to get rid of them. -Original Message- From: pc-audio-boun...@pc-audio.org [mailto:pc-audio-boun...@pc-audio.org] On Behalf Of Dave Bahr Sent: Monday, August 01, 2011 7:19 AM To: PC Audio Discussion List Subject: Re: how to add book mark in winnamp? iqual, the bookmark will only mark the file in the list, not a time within it. Really? I couldn't get very far with it. Is there a tutorial or something on the net to get me started? Also, when I made a recording, JFW was always in it. Wireless Stereo Speakers recommendations Please?
Hi everyone, as you can tell from my subject, I am looking for any recommendations you all might have for me for 2 sets of wireless Stereo speakers. My stereo receiver has already worked with a wireless set in my bedroom and a wirered set in my livingroom, where the receiver is. Now, do to a rearrangement of my livingroom furniture, I would like to put speakers at either end of my couch, across the room from the receiver. These speakers will be near an outlet, so power will be no trouble, they won't be running on batteries. They just won't be hooked into my stereo as they are now. Do you think that having 2 sets of wireless speakers will be a problem? RadioShack has several wireless speakers for sale on their website: www.radioshack.com But how am I to choose? I can't listen to them online or in the store, since these are just online items. Any thoughts or suggestions, will be greatly appreciated! Vicky The other set will be in my bedroom to either side of the head of my bed. To unsubscribe from this list, send a blank email to: pc-audio-unsubscr...@pc-audio.org
Re: Wireless Stereo Speakers recommendations Please?
I use Airport Express or Apple TV units here if I want to add speakers and I use these devices for several reasons. Firstly, audio quality is extremely good - particularly if you can connect these devices to digital inputs of speakers, amps or whatever. Secondly, Airport Express and Apple TV can be used with a wide variety of devices, if you got a pair of wireless speakers then you're somewhat restricted so as you can gather, plug an Airport Express or Apple TV into whatever you like whether it be that old $30.00 pair of battery operated speakers, the boombox in the kitchen or the audio phile amp in the lounge its your boat. There are many ways Airport and Apple TV can be utilised, everything from streaming from your computer using various apps to having other devices such as amps stream to them, I wrote about some new amps from pioneer which are totally compatible with Airport Express, Apple TV and anything else which uses the Airplay streaming technology. Something for you to consider anyway.
