I am a new member and would like to know of a good, preferably free, accessible and easy-to-use program that will take a video file and extract the audio content into an MP3 - effectively removing the need for pictures? re need help with soundforge
Hi, and god bless you all. i have got my line in working, although i am not quite certain how i got there. your were right, about the synstem tray. it is a quicker way of getting to the volumes. do you know about this. on my computer which is now virtually dead, and disconnected, i had soundforge. if i did, control r, as if to start a recording, and shift tab, eventually i reach something, that gave me five choices. five was lin in, and four was stereo mix. i then shift tabbed, until i reach close, and pressed enter. i then had to start again, with control r to prepare my recording. i can't do this on this soundforge on this machine, although it is the same version i was using on the other machine. brian. Re: re need help with soundforge
For the playback and record settings, go to the volume control from the system tray, not the sound app in the controlpanel. brian parker wrote: > Hi, thanks for your answers, but i am still stuck. i go to control > panel, and press on sounds and audio devices. i then arrive in a > volume saying 320 of 500. if i then shift tab, i get five > choices. they are. volume, sounds, audio, voice, and hardware > devices. i know that somewhere there should be a record an play back, > but i can't find them. but, thanks for trying. i am at present using > my old computer. i have just set up a new one, and have installed > soundforge on it. unfortunately, when i try to launch soundforge, it > says can't find specified mondule, and then freezes. this is why i > have gone back to my old computer. i am stuck until i get soundforge > working in one or other of these machines. brian. > > > To unsubscribe from this list, send a blank email to: > pc-audio-unsubscr...@pc-audio.org -- Your life is like a penny. Re: need help with soundforge
It would appear that you have line in selected in your volume playback settings, but not in your recording settings. Open your volume settings, select properties then recording and make sure that line in is checked. Re: need help with soundforge
Seem to remember that in Soundforge you must choose the input source i.e. line in.
