replay radio.
Hi all, I was going to send this over to the Nvda list but thought the mods over there are a bit over zealous and would say it is off topic, they would be correct but I know one of the people worked with the people who made this app and it works well with Nvda. Anyway I have set a timer for every day, I can't seem to see any setting to have this app run at startup, do you have to do this? or will the app if closed just come up at the time of recording? there is not a button to hide the app in the system tray not to sure if I like this program. I have used tap in radio and this just works. but I subscribed to this not expensive so I thought i would try this app. I used to have it years ago but have kind of forgotten the way around it. thanks for any help given.
Re: replay radio.
I was the beta tester for Replay Radio 9. This program is not the old Replay Radio that you used to have. The new Replay Radio 9 or some call it just Replay Radio will start up on its own when it has to do a recording. It does not have to be running. If you set the times correctly it will record for you. It will activate itself when it is time to record. Write me off list and I will send you my Replay Radio notes. Put in subject line Replay Radio. Thank you. - Original Message - From: Kevin Cussick To: PC audio discussion list. Sent: Monday, December 23, 2013 5:30 PM Subject: replay radio. Re: replay radio.
Replay Radio will activate itself on its own and record. It does not have to be running. The start recording time and date settings has been improved since my testing. Very easy to configure now so disregard my notes on setting the start time and date below. Pay attention on how to use the tab sheets. Replay Radio Text Tutorial Replay Radio 9 Installation No installation issues experienced. Default storage folder is C:\Users\your-computer-name\Documents\Applian\Replay Radio Only If You Are A Dropbox User When you run Replay Radio 9 you will get a pop up window asking you if you want to use your Dropbox folder as your storage folder with options yes or no and a checkbox. Replay Radio 9 Settings Choose alt-t for the tools menu. For Replay Media Catcher 5 Settings Press enter on Library tab on main interface. Press alt-l for the Library menu then proceed with the steps below for either program to do Choose settings Library tab sheet properties is the default Press spacebar key to check mark the checkbox that reads Choose Player based on Windows File association This will preserve your audio / video files playback with whatever default media player(s) you are using. If the above checkbox is not checked then you will be asked if you want to use the Applian FLV Media Player which plays many file types. It is a clone of VLC Media Player but has no buttons interface When you attempt to play a file within either replay Radio 9 or Replay Media Catcher 5 you will be asked if you want to use / download the Applian FLV Media Player with yes or no. If you know the file type is supported on your system then choose no So don't download this There is another checkbox in the library settings called 'Enable Sound Effects' This should have a check mark. If not press space bar key. This enables you to hear a start sound when the programs have begun to capture and a stop sound is heard when a capture has finished. If for some reason you don't like your settings or can't remember what you have changed simply click the 'Defaults' button to reset your settings back to the defaults. Choose OK Replay Radio 9 Replay Media Catcher 5 use the same engines so many parts are exactly the same so once you have used one of the programs the other is easier to use and understood. The user interfaces are different though. If you have scheduled a future recording but have forgotten to run the Replay Radio 9 application, no problem because Replay Radio 9 will open itself and start the recording for you. Setting the configurations You may want to change where your storage folder is located. Just How Good Are Portable DAB+ Radio Sets
I received my Tivoli Audio Pal DAB+ radio this morning and I've had a play with the set. When it comes to portable DAB+ radios then this is about as good as it gets and perhaps people will say it damn well ought to be at $300.00 but when it comes to high end high quality audio products then you certainly get what you pay for and a Tivoli radio isn't your ordinary supermarket radio. The Pal DAB+ looks exactly like the iPal radio but the cabinet style and speaker are the only things these radios have in common, controls are completely different. On the front of the Pal DAB+ is a massive display towards the top, 5 round preset buttons underneath and the 2.5 inch speaker complets the front surface. On the top of the radio is a jog-dial, whilst the radio is on turning this dial adjusts the volume and for a portable radio the Pal DAB+ gives plenty of that. If the jog-dial is pressed in the station list is shown, the user turns the dial to select the station to tune and presses the dial in to tune it, tuning time takes about half a second. Storing a station into one of the 5 presets is easy enough, just hold down the desired preset button for 5 seconds. Powering off the radio is doen by holding down the jog-dial for 2 seconds, to power on again press the jog-dial twice. On the rear of the Pal DAB+ are 3 sockets and each is protected by a rubber cover, the power socket, stereo headphones and aux-in sockets. The radio comes with a most eligant remote controller which sits in a stand with a rubber backing, just perfect for your coffee or bedside table. I've not worked out all the buttons on the controller yet but figure I'll most likely never want to use it given that the controls on the radio provide me with enough control over its functionality as is. Charging of the internal rechargeable battery pack takes around 3 hours and the battery lasts for around 20 hours before charging is required. a DAB model is available for those in Europe etc. And finally, the radio also has an FM band but I haven't worked out how to select this band as yet, all in good time smile. I'm very much looking forward to tuning around on FM, if my Tivoli Audio iPal radio is any guide then the FM band will be super, the FM band on the iPal is extremely sensitive and selective and just as good as the Sangean PRD15 which is the best FM receiver I possess. ** Dane Trethowan Skype: grtdane12 Phone US (213) 438-9741 Phone U.K. 01245 79 0598 Phone Australia (03) 9005 8589 Mobile: +61400494862 Fax +61397437954 ** Dane Trethowan Skype: grtdane12 Phone US (213) 438-9741 Phone U.K. 01245 79 0598 Phone Australia (03) 9005 8589 Mobile: +61400494862 Fax +61397437954

Re: Just How Good Are Portable DAB+ Radio Sets
It looks like a small computer speaker, about 4 inches high, 3 inches wide and 4 inches from front to back.
