RE: re soundforge
Hi, You need to download the Lame Encoder and stick it in the SF directory. Foxtel Play: Watch Over the Internet on Xbox360, Samsung TVs, ...
The subject line is a little miss leading as you can also watch Foxtel Play on your Mac or Windows PC, I've not tried the Windows PC client yet but I've had some success with the Mac client which seems to be fairly accessible. Foxtel is the main Cable TV provider in Australia and of course they're under huge competition to provide features and services to make the subscription to Foxtel worth the while. I was alerted to Foxtel Play earlier on today as I'm thinking of ditching my Foxtel Subscription though the only thing holding me back from doing this was the Sky News channel which I frequently watch, Foxtel Play has changed all that, find out more below. http://www.foxtel.com.au/foxtelplay/home/default.htm ** Dane Trethowan Skype: grtdane12 Phone US (213) 438-9741 Phone U.K. 01245 79 0598 Phone Australia (03) 9005 8589 Mobile: +61400494862 faceTime +61400494862 Fax +61397437954 Twitter: @grtdane
shoutcast
I am having problems with winamp and shoutcast and it buffering a lot when it was working fine yesterday. I have a showing this evening. Is there an alternative I can use in winamp other than shoutcast? If we can't look at ourselves, and ask, why? then where does the learning start?
Can't get my computer to play through my stereo
Hi all, I hope that someone will have an idea that will help me. I had an audio stream on my acer notebook the other day and wanted to play it through the stereo. I tried with the Audio cable we have hooked up for this purpose, but all I got was feedback. The jack has been acting strange lately, so this wasn't a complete surprise. What's strange though is that when we decided to try an HDMI cable, it played beautifully for a couple of minutes and then stopped coming through the stereo. The stream had not stopped playing because I could hear it through the computer speakers when I disconnected the cable. The only other strange thing that happened was a message on my computer about screen resolution. I ignored that because I wasn't using video anyway. Could ignoring that message be the issue? If not, then what else could it be? Hoping for some help here.

Re: re soundforge
I'd recommend version 8 as being the latest which seems to not have the issues that 9, 10, and 11, have with moving the cursor . . . with speech output. -- Curtis Delzer. HS. Re: re soundforge
How does one get back to 8, from 9? If I paid for 9( and did so to get CD architect with it, for instance) how can I get hold of 8? I am using Windows 7 64 bit too, BTW!
