RE: Downloading MP3 Direct Cut

2016-07-25 Thread Robert Nelson

Go to the web page:

http://mpesch3.de1.cc/mp3dc.html

Go down the page to the heading that says:
Download MP3 Direct Cut

Below that heading you will see 3 links pointing to sites where you may
download the program. The first link is to www.fosshub.com which is the free
open source software hub and probably the best site to download from. Try to
avoid www.softpedia.com because you may find yourself downloading things you
do not want.

If you are proposing to use MP3 Direct Cut as a sound editor, be warned that
you may find it confusing at first but if you get someone with sight to explain
to you what is happening on the screen, you will eventually find it quite
accessible. In fact, there are some parts of the program that talk so much
that you will wish you could tell it to shut up.

Alistair King has offered, for years and from England, his "Accessible
Podcatcher" which as the name states, is accessible with Jaws and very easy
to use. He also offers a text-only browser and other software, all free.
