Re: A Winmx question

2006-06-16 Thread Barry Chapman
Hi Debbie,

Alt+tab only takes me to different applications. When using the JAWS
scripts for WINMX, the only way I can get it to work with JAWS once the
browse list has loaded is to go to the transfers window with ctrl+t, find
the name of the user, with the JAWS cursor and left click on it. This will
make the list of songs visible to JAWS. I then have to left click on one of
the songs to bring the list into focus.

I was hoping the JAWS scripts would have provided a keystroke for this, but
it appears not.

Regards,
Barry Chapman

Hi Dan, after you enter on browse, you should be able to alt tab between the
transfers window and the browse window for that user. Although I found that
I had to arrow down a few lines and left click in the listview of songs for
that user then I could arrow up and down the list of songs.

The problem is that, as far as I know, there's no way to separate the
transfers window from the browse window. They sort of overlap each other
unless I'm doing something wrong. I find the feature extremely hard to use.

Re: A Winmx question

2006-06-16 Thread Debbie Scales
That is odd Barry. Once I enter on browse on the context menu, I can alt
tab and the name of the user is in my alt tab sequence.
For example I just did it and I have
tommysandsangel8091.
Now once I alt tab to the window, I do have to route Jaws to pc cursor and
arrow down and left click in one of the songs in the list. The alt ctonrol
F to get to the first item in a listview doesn't work.
But I don't have to go back to the transfer window.
