RE: An Easier Way To Get Sound Blaster Driver Updates?

2012-07-20 Thread HHamit Campos
Ah okay then, if that's the case, then that makes sence. I thought it did go
to Realtek's site and therefore that's why I tried it since I have no idea
what to look for since I don't know the name of the card. All I get from
anywhere I try looking for the name is Realtek High Dethinition Audio
Device.

I don't think Device Manager was lying to you. I believe Device Manager
checks your local hard drive, any removable drives you have loaded (such as
a manufacturers CD) and the MS update repository for device drivers.
If you haven't downloaded a newer device driver and RealTek hasn't uploaded
one to MS then I don't think Device Manager will find it. For example, it
doesn't check the RealTek web site. There are other 3rd party applications
that will do this for you.

You're welcome. Let me know what happens. I tried to up date my mother board
sound card that way, and it said there where no up dates. Which I think is
nothing but lies. There must be some unless Realtek aint updating the
drivers for my tibe of bord any more.

Hi all.

I have a Sound Blaster 24 bit sound card and trying to find the updated
drivers. Is there any easier way than looking for a needle in a hay stack
on the Creative web site? Any help would be appreciated and thanks in
