Re: CLICKS AND SCRATCHES
Hi! Go to http://exactaudiocopy.de and click on the link eac6.html this will take you to the download links. You'll also find some useful information including a tutorial for beginners at the coaster factory. Can't remember the url, but typing coaster factory in Google should turn up the info. There's also a eac users' list on yahoogroups. Cheers, Tim. - Original Message - From: Lisa Hayes [EMAIL PROTECTED] To: PC audio discussion list. CLICKS AND SCRATCHES
-BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE- Hash: SHA1 Greetings! Now I haven't been a user of CDEX for quite some time (over 18 months having moved up a level to a more reliable CD ripper) but the problems described from messages to this list (where clicks, scratches etc are appearing at the beginning, at end of tracks or both) would appear to be more of a CDEX problem rather than a MP3 issue, meaning that CDEX probably needs some tweeking, sounds that some people's drives may not be compatible with the settings that they have for CDEX etc and the problem should be easy to identify and sort out. The suggextion of editing the surplus noise from the file? Well... that may be more of a nusance than its worth as the surplus noise could be masking propper CD audio. -BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE- Version: PGP 8.0.3 Comment: Dane Trethowan, a client of TFT-BBS run by Gordon Smith iQA/AwUBQRX24ylBPqY64aUBEQIiwwCfZhN4RRUF7Y/9J8b2VaMTvx3xX9gAnREs XMrkTfAJf23CCwg8WaennwsG =IpMA -END PGP SIGNATURE- ___ PC-Audio List Help, Guidelines, Archives and more... http://www.pc-audio.org To unsubscribe from this list, send a blank email to: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
